I can not find the delicious mustard relish hot dog relish. Please tell me you are still making this product. There are other brands but none come close to Vlastic brand.
My go to when I make tuna salad! Very affordable & very tasty! I pair mine with tuna & crackers usually. No improvements needed. Very satisfied with the flavor of this product & its something that I buy each shopping trip!
I love classic sweet relish. This squeezable version is very convenient, however it tends to create blobs to come out at once, so maybe an improvement is needed with the opening size/shape on the cap. It's a great addition to tuna sammie's or deviled eggs. I'll stick to the jar version for now.
I love the flavor and sweetness level. I would prefer a jar, since the bottle dispenser tends to push out the juice before the relish, so too much juice hits the bread. I just inserted a butter knife into bottle and scooped out the contents. Thank you.
I like the flavor of the sweet relish, but the squeezable bottle needs to be redesigned. Everytime you squeeze the bottle for relish, more juice than relish comes out and you end up with a wet hotdog. I find myself having to open the top and squeeze it out on a spoon a few times just to get relish. Please.. Do something about it.
We love Vlasic pickles and relish but this squeezable dispenser did nothing but make our hot dog buns soggy with pickle juice! Maybe after 6 or 7 hot dogs relish may come out instead of pickle juice, but we gave up and got a spoon! If I were making potato salad the squeezable packaging would be more convenient.
I bought this Homestyle Relish for my hot dogs for Memorial Day. I used it that day, and thought it tasted funny. I just used it again in my egg salad. Again, the taste was strange. I had not paid attention to the label that said "no sugar added". I then looked at the ingredients. Sucralose is added as a sweetener. I hate the taste of fake sugar; it is awful. No sugar added should mean just leave out any form of sweetener; don't try to fake it. Maybe put No REAL sugar added, but we added the FAKE stuff. This ruined 2 meals for me (I know, not very exciting meals, but...).
I bought this, and to everyone's shocl the hotdogs we made tasted sickly sweet like chemicals, everything had to be thrown away. They say no sugar added well, thats dishonest because they added chemicals. It gave one of our guests heart palpitations. Plus the extra cost compared to a generic relish more than 1/2 the price. Avoid at all costs.
Made egg salad with this, a couple of table spoons made it so salty, no one could eat it.
When a product is advertised "no sugar added," the impression left is that something is not included rather than replaced with an ingredient that many stomachs cannot tolerate. Many people are ordering groceries due to the pandemic and don't have a way to inspect every label. Thanks for wasting my money. Sucralose would have sent me to the bathroom for days.
