Quality product. Bought your fan for my son who lives in a small Manhattan apartment. Innovative design and performance in a small package. Helped reduce air conditioning expenses. Bought from Vornado because of the superior customer care in case of any problems.
I have a large living room with high ceilings which makes it difficult to keep a constant temp... we have hot spots and cool spots all over the livingroom... but since purchasing the vornado 154 and setting it on medium speed the whole livingroom is at just the right temp!! (20x22 with 10ft ceilings)
I just got this fan this evening. I am so excited. I owned a Vornado fan before and I loved it. This one is a smaller but sleek look is so stylish! So far the low and medium setting I like the best. High too loud. My room is not big and it is not so hot now but I do feel the difference with the fan on. I will come back later with another review since I just got it today. But so far I am happy
We use this tower fan in the bedroom and it moves the air nicely without blowing directly on the bed. The downside is that the lights are sooooo bright that it lights up the room. I now have a piece of duct tape attached to the fan so after I turn it on I can cover the lights. They still show through. I am not sure why they have to be so bright. They would be just as visible without being so bright. The only other complaint I have that when I have purchased other fans, humidifiers, etc. the packaging is much more friendly to the environment that I am not sure why all companies are not using better packaging.
I bought this 6 years ago.Im really happy with it.But I just heard it has a recall on it.I had no idea.I keep it in my bedroom. I'm sick with lupus and it puts me to sleep.
After years of using the conventional Vornado floor fans, I decided the tower might be a more attractive alternative. We live in the desert and use floor fans to supplement the air conditioning and increase the air flow in our home. This fan effectively moves the air and looks a lot less obvious than the floor fans, but it is much noisier.
The air intake is poorly placed to use as a fan to draw air from a cooler room into a warmer room. The design of the output always puts air where I do not desire. The unit is WAY TOO LOUD! The words "quiet operation" should be removed from the box. I will return this unit and purchase another Lasko.
I brought this fan because I figured that if it cost $100.00 it must be a good product. I bought this fan on June 28, 2016 and in less than two months it no longer works. The company also says that the remote control has a magnet to stick to the top of fan however the magnet is very weak and will not hold. When I called customer service, they were nice but when I explained the magnet issue to them they completed my sentence as if they already knew it was not a good set up. It was even recommended that I spend more money to buy a stronger magnet and attach it myself as if $100.00 investment was not enough. I asked the person if I could exchange my fan for a different type because I was completed unsatisfied and she shut me down asap. I was told to cut the cord and send a picture and they would send a replacement however I would like a different model as I don't want this issue again and the remote control is cheaply made and the magnet system is useless.
Okay. My expectations as someone that is looking for a good fan at this price point is to be literally blown away. This did not happen. I was extremely underwhelmed by the power of this fan. Despite it's unique design, it does no better than a regular oscillating tower fan. Actually I would prefer the oscillation because the coverage simply isn't good enough for the amount of air it circulates. The remote I received was extremely sketchy and would only work if you were standing 2 feet away from the fan. What's the point? I appreciated the design of the fan overall but honestly the bells and whistles do not justify the price for this fan at all. After 4 months of use my fan has suddenly stopped working and I am very upset. I am going to be contacting customer support and am hoping that they at least have good customer service.
I have seven different model Vornado circulators and since it's been humid lately, I decided to buy another Vornado and try this model. It was a big disappointment. There's hardly any air flow from this tower circulator. My small 533 circulator puts out more air flow. I returned this to the store the next day. Even the clerk concur on the air flow of this model.
