It does exactly as advertised. Phone is definitely for an elderly person.

It was perfect for my older parents. I was able to set it up with no problem and they really enjoy it .
I bought this for my grandmother who is hard of hearing. As we are trying to talk phone to phone through the window at her living facility. It amplified plenty!
Clarity is good and amplifier is clear.Just a little complicated to set up contacts.
Got it hooked up with dial tone. Couldn't figure out easy dial feature. Left it for someone else to figure it out.
There isn't a display on the desk phone so it makes it useless for caller id. You have to us the select menu button to get to most functions which makes it confusing to an elderly person. They just want to see their missed calls and hear their messages. The directory is not connected to memory buttons so you have to add the numbers twice for each. The phone doesn't allow area codes for local numbers so you have to delete them off in the directory to make calls. The phone stressed my mother out so bad we had to return it after 2 weeks. She also didn't like the smart call blocker function because we needed to add all of her friends and family before she could get calls. We didn't add some neighbors and the wouldn't leave a name for her to answer.
Only the base of the phone gets a dialtone. The cordless part continues to say it's "out of range" even though it's in the same room.
Didn't work . Took back at 33 days . Would not return because over 30 days. Entered chemo / radiation treatment so had to stop dispute. Lost 100. 00 on that purchase. Not real happy.
Never got it and customer service will not give me a credit since the charge was put on my credit card
