i think this product is wonderful. i set two crawl balls infront of my 6 month old daughter and her interest kept to this one. she loves to sit and play with it and i can also sit it infront of her about three feet and it has started to encourage her to crawl. i set it infront of her and she got on all fours and started rocking(something she has not done before). I highly recommend this for any mommy or daddy tryin to encourage your baby to crawl or even for babies that are already crawling. My mama loves to just sit and play with it. She loves the colored ribbons that poke out and is constantly playing with the spinning lady bug on top.
I bought this activity ball for my 8 month old son. He loves all the songs and how it rolls around on the floor in front of him. He laughs all day! He loves to dance when the music plays! I would recommend this ball to anyone with a child. My 11 year old loves it too.
Excellent toy. It is used by our 8 month old who only rolls to move from place to place. It is fascinating because it just takes a small nudge to get the ball to move and to begin its sounds. The small cloth tabs hanging around the top area are of interest to him as well as the small "bug" that easily moves around the top of the ball. Its a little heavy if manages to pick it up over himself while he is laying down but once he begins to crawl the heaviness will not be a concern since he will doing more pushing of it and less trying to pick it up above himself. It occupies him even when he is sitting upright.
Purchased for 6 month old granddaughter. She loves it! It continues to move and hold her attention. She smiles and laughs as it comes back close to her and she reaches for it and follows it as best she can. I can see this toy growing with her. It will become more and more educational as she gets older.
Sophie loves this ball and at 6 months it is exactly what I needed to stimulate her and encourage her to crawl more. She barely has to touch the ball and it starts talking and lighting up unlike others where I had to push hard to get them to activate. I would recommend this to any Mom.
This is for a grandchild of my sister's for Christmas. He's almost a year old and cutting a few teeth along the way. Having raised 3 children of my own and my grandchildren(older now) I do know good products when I see them and what works for each age. Great price too!!
The VTech Move & Crawl Electronic Activity Ball was purchased for my 6 month old great-grandson for Christmas. He has not received it yet, but I have a strong feeling he will be actively playing with it. Youngsters his age are attracted to bright colors and lights. The fact that it will roll around will encourage him to be active and crawl around. Walmart had the best price, and I was amazed at how quickly I received the product, even though it qualified for free shipping!
I bought this ball for my 9 month old son, who has almost mastered crawling. The ball moves by itself, lights up, and sings...it might move a bit much for him right now, he gets frustrated, but I believe this will pass. Great buy!
This is great for hard floors only. Sorry won't work right on carpet. My son loves this. When he is crawling around and decides to get into some thing I just roll this out and he goes for it everytime. Great way to keep babies distracted from getting into things they shouldn't.
The toy is not operating as it should, must be defective. I gave this one as a gift as my 2 grand-daughters truly enjoyed playing with this toy. I will be exchanging it for another one of the same.
