[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter is absolutely obsessed with paw patrol! I brought this home and she was immediately all over it. We have been trying to work on her words as she knows common ones but is still learning sentences and how to say the tougher words. I opened the box and set it up for her and she was immediately playing with it. We have only had it a few days but she has consistently been playing with it for a few hours each day. She will repeat the words and loves that it is paw patrol! This was exactly what I was hoping for with this toy. I can't wait to see how she progresses!

This is a touch and teach word book with 40 plus words and 10 pages to interact with. There are 3 modes to choose from words, phonics, and music. It's full of fun learning activities on every page and tons of amazing illustrations. The sound is loud and clear, but not too loud where it becomes annoying. It's just right. This toy is easy to use for kids of all ages. Its built tough and it's super durable. It really does help teach my son so many things like words and how to sound out letters. Vtech always makes the best toys and I keep going back for more. This is an overall great learning toy and my son absolutely loves it.

You press on a word or picture and it will tell you what it says or what the picture is . She's having fun while learning and that's a plus for me.

I bought four units of the VTech PAW Patrol Mighty Pups Touch and Teach Word Book With Ryder. One of the items had battery rusted in the battery compartment and could no longer work at all right out of the box. The spring contacts in the battery compartment are all rusted. The toy may have been in storage for too long. Seller would have checked functionality before sending. Not good at all. Very dissatisfied!
I am Sooooo disappointed. my 2 and1/2 year old Grandson Aries was super excited to get this paw patrol learning toy. And the back pages do not work. Of course he cried when we had to take it and put it away for return. He didn't understand why it wouldn't work. That's so upsetting for a parent and grandparent to witness their child's disappointment. We purchased 2 packs of extra batteries just for this toy in anticipation of him playing with it. He's very smart and loves learning. I only hope it can be replaced with one that works properly. Then I have the task of making sure he gets it again. We live in separate Towns in Missouri and I don't have a car. Neither do his parents. This was such a disappointment.
