Have been using it for 5 months now and absolutely love it. Sensitivity on it is great. Picture is clear. It should be plugged in at night when you sleep to stay charged as it doesn't last on its own all night I've noticed but it's definitely worth it. The only weird thing about it is when it's turned off throughout the day and I turn it back on at night it's always facing to the left of the room but don't know how or why. The speaker is on the back of the monitor which is great for me because I put the screen face down while I sleep as it's really bright next to me and I don't have to unmuffle the speaker. Also the temperature is accurate on it. It is a great quality monitor.
Pan/Tilt are really good. I can see the whole room and my moving toddler. Image is clear. Screen is large. Good value for the price. I originally bought a similar Levana model but returned it because I couldn't see anything when the lighting was during nap time in the afternoon. It wasn't completely dark or light out and I couldn't make out a single image. This vtech model is much better! I can see everything clearly.
Bought it because my sister had one and I love it. The pan and tilt features are so great
Love everything about this baby monitor.. Only downside is I'm having a hard time finding extra cameras
Cool features works great. The only thing is the video quality is kind of choppy... Apart from that it's wonderful
I should have listened to the negative reviews I read before buying this monitor. We have had it for a year, and the USB cord wore out, so we used another cord, but now no cord will keep it charged and it just turns off/won't hold a charge. I can't find a replacement monitor. There are other negatives about it that we have found over the last year but I will summarize it by saying I would not buy again and would not recommend this monitor.
Bought this 9 months ago and now it won't charge or hold a charge. Battery charge is worse everyday. Have to keep it plugged in almost all the time. For only 9 months not good
I have had now had two of this same monitor and only had constant issues with both. My first one the sound cut out and it needed to be replaced. I was able to do a straight exchange so then I ended up with my second. The second I constantly had issues with the adapter. It had to be in just so in order to receive the charge. Eventually it stopped working all together and I needed another adapter. The second adapter lasted some time but then randomly the input stopped receiving power. I do NOT recommend this product at all. I will have to be getting a third monitor today and you can guarantee it will not be a Vtech.
I bought this and used it just a couple of times to notice that the sound only picks up some of the time. I could hear my baby fussing/crying from her room on my own, but it didn't register on the monitor. Sometimes it would pick it up, other times it was completely mute. Not reliable, so I returned it.
Ours worked until several months after the 1-year-warranty. Then, as a Google search indicates as a common problem, the monitor stopped holding a charge, then, even while plugged in, it would turn off randomly (pretty distressing as this happened frequently through the night). Then, finally, it wouldn't turn on at all, and the video portion started malfunctioning. Seems to be planned obsolescence in action. Our next monitor will be from a more reliable brand.
