So easy to use... Fun [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I am so happy I chose this as a gift. The look on my hubby's face and the way he talked about how this is a professional set of clippers was all I needed to hear to know I had chosen well. He said this was the best set of clippers he has ever had. There are so many options of blades to choose from that there's no way anyone could not benefit if looking for an exceptional set of clippers and the PRICE is right!
I got this to cut my husbands hair and it works great. I was very impressed with how easy it was to use and how quick I could cut his hair with it.
The included "comb" attachments will handle any hair style you want. My hair is very short (think military), and it's nice to "freshen" up anytime I want. My wife has no experience in hair cutting, but did a great job for her first effort. They teach you the basic principles, and once you understand a simple technique, can do it without anxiety. Remember to "rock" the clipper, and not stab at the hair. I will also suggest you watch a few Wahl YouTube videos because they are very helpful. Some of those guys have 10 pair of exotic clippers, and may even use them. But the Chrome Pro feels solid in the hand, not noisy at all, and plenty of accessories. Once you get into it a bit, you'll really enjoy the experience. You'll also enjoy saving a PILE of money on haircuts by hungover, high turnover, salon employees. The main thing is to have fun with it (and you will), and maybe make 'Haircut Time" fun for your Husband, and children. This unit paid for itself the day I got it. Oh yeah, two things: 1.) Make sure you start with the higher number combs, and work down until you hear it start to cut. 2.) Oiling is not a suggestion. It is a requirement. The included oil should be used before, and after each use. A great product made right here in the U.S.A., and GUARANTEED!! I would suggest you buy rthe item from WalMart, because I think my Wife ended up paying about $10.00 additional, just for shipping. Man, I look good................
was way beyond my expectations :) was exception a light , Flimsy,ugly in color ,but was very surprise in the weight, color, handling of this product .husband loves it
This is our third set. My kids are 10 and 12. Second set of Wahl. This set was $40+ everywhere else. I caught them on sale for $25. Excellent deal. They were very smooth and quiet. The cord was a good length. The only complaint is that they are heavy.
I got this to cut my own hair and minutes after opening it, reading the instructions for 10 minutes, I cut my hair and it looks as if a professional had done it. The razor is just like a barber's razor and very heavy duty. It is a bit heavy so if you are using it on your own hair make sure not to drop it and it can get tiresome holding it. All the attachments are not of much use but they include some 16 piece attachments. I have a short haircut (not a crew cut) and use the #3 blade attachment for almost all cutting. You can also adjust a lever for each attachment to cut closer or longer. Other than #3 I use the two attachments specifically for trimming around the ears for a gradual fade. The razor could have been less heavy but that is the only minor drawback I found with this. It comes in a nice hard case and every possible accessory to cut hair. The price is ridiculous cheap for what it gets done.
I was not sure if I could be able to use the item but after I bought it and read through the instruction, it took just 15 mins to work on my hair. All I can say I am a pro now and Great Clips just lost a customer and I will save a big amount of money. The product works really well and the price is very very cheap. Anybody can use it and become a hair dresser with an hour. I will highly recommend this product to others. EXTREMELY HAPPY with my purchase. Thank you WAHL, Thank you WALMART.
Bought this as a Christmas gift for my son. Easy to use and cuts hair great. Looking forward to saving money every month on haircuts.
The Wahl 24 piece kit is well made, made in the US and came with good instructions. Its net weight is 2.5 lbs and is difficult to use to cut your own hair, otherwise it is good product and well made.
