Surprised I found it at a local store. With my husband and 2 son's using it during the pandemic, it has paid for itself already
Great product for the price. However, in the long run they are no different than the lower priced chrome series. Although, the hard case and high quality do make them a great product with a nice sleek design. I do think the guards are a great quality as well, however, as a shave to head user, the guards are of no use to me. Bottom line, you simply cannot beat the price for a product that's probably worth more.
BEST HAIRCUT CLIPPING SET EVER!! My mother in law bought one of these sets for me about 6 years ago. I used it on myself and my two boys until it didnt work anymore. So I just bought another. It does a really nice job and its very well made. I would HIGHLY recommend this set.
I like this clipper and works fine to me, it's excellent for home use and the quality of the professional.
The best hair clippers I've ever bought. The guards lock on solid so I don't have to worry about them popping off of you don't have to worry about messing up someone's hair by them popping off. This product number (79734) is different than most sites even Wahl because it has the tapered ear guards in it the clippers are the same wahl elite pro. The case is nice but the hinges were broken so I had to use my old case. The clippers are worth it so I didn't send the package back over the plastic case.
I'm very glad I opted to pay a little more for the Elite Pro Wahl clippers. The clipper is sturdy and has a little weight to it and to me that's question. The guards themselves are heavy duty and clip on and off with ease. The true yest was when I used them on a clients hair and I was blown away! I've been using them for over a year and I've never had to sharpen them! Excellent product.
My wife has cut my hair for years. We have had other clippers and they worked but it seemed like we had to go over the same spots multiple times. This unit is well made, heavier and sturdier than others we have used. The best thing; My wife said it is so much easier and does an excellent job in much less time than the other units. I recommend this one.
It was a very easy product to use and all the attachments made it that much more easy to use. I had everything I needed to cut my husband's hair...which he said turned out well. My only complaint is because I buy quality hair cutting scissors for my hair, these scissors I have retired for use on other things...my husband said when touching his skin it was as if there were pieces of metal sticking out and scratching / poking him. I quit using the scissors and used my professional quality hair cutting scissors in place of given scissors. So other than the attacking scissors, everything else is worked great first and second time. I love the blending ability of the clippers. Four stars because of scissors.
I loved these clippers the first two times I used them. They were quiet and didn't pull my clients hair at all, even with the thickest hair types. The third time I used them everything was going great until it was cleaning time. I was using my andis cool care cleaner and the clippers just caught fire. I've never had this happen in the 15 years I've done hair. Please be cautious leaving these plugged in if you decide to purchase.
There are two models for this trimmer. 79734 which trims wet hair too and 79602 which does not trim wet hair from what I read. Model 79602 is $10 cheaper on this site and this seller mailed me a $10 cheaper unit (79602) and charged me $99 for 79734 unit.
