As an older dude, all the hair that used to be on my legs and chest now comes out my nose and ears and my eyebrows. I like having this all in one which works great in a compact size for occasions when I need to have it with me at the Gentleman's Club. Just kidding! There are no gentlemen there. And I do like it for travel. Great buy!
This is the second one I've bought. I finally wore out the first one after 15 years. Oh, it's still work's, but it has some issues. The price was right, so I replaced it.
This product is the best out there on the market today....it does a great job getting to the tight areas...an it does not tear you skin...
I've bought at least 40 of these dang things! I like em a lot, wish I could say love but when you accidentally drop them the pieces go flying everywhere. Does a great job though otherwise!
A nice working product when you get things figured out. The instructions are basically illustrations. There is nothing written to help clarify things. First, you need to put on an accessory cutter head to get to the battery compartment. Once that is done, all you have to do is pull on the attachment and case and they will slide apart to reveal the battery compartment. The battery goes in upside down to my thinking. The plus, top, side of the battery is placed to the bottom.of the trimmer. I had it in wrong at first and thought the unit was broken. Then I saw the illustration had the plus at the bottom. Another thing that wasn't clear to me from the instructions was if you could have a cutter installed and still be able to put the cap on over that. I found that you can. Another thing with the instructions is that they show a cutter that is not included with this version. Even if you don't read instructions, things aren't very intuitive. Once I figured everything out, it is a very nice trimmer. It just took me a while to get there. My 4 star rating is because of the instructions and not the unit itself.
It works. It's underpowered as expected for battery power. If you have a really course beard, find something else.
This is my 5th one- I only keep buying them due to convenience, but this is not a long lasting device. It stops working for no reason, even after properly cleaned and with fresh batteries. I can usually get about 6 months of use from one unit, using it 1-2 times a week. Cheap construction makes the flimsy plastic break easily, and I usually have to tape the pieces together by the 3rd month.
As an older man, I find hairs growing in places younger folks would not experience. I've used a similar product from another Mfg. to trim ear hair for years and recently dropped it and it fell apart. I'm a long time Wahl fan for their hair clippers so I decided on this since it looked a bit more rugged. What a disappointment! so underpowered that it can actually stall just trimming my earlobes or eyebrows. sometimes feels like it's trying to pull hair rather than cut it. I would recommend trimmers from a popular MFG of electric razors (trying not t use brand names here)
Don't buy! Falls apart easy if you drop in bathroom. I just dropped in my bathroom. Using trimmer part. Broke apart hitting floor. Now I can't find parts. Saw tear down video on YouTube. I'm missing 2 tiny parts inside. I thought this is the best micro trimmer you can buy. I am wrong. I am so angry I paid $15 for this kind of quality.
The store sold me a fake item, my coworker had one original and they were different, the fake is far worse quality and cheaply made
