Complete kit has everything you need EXCEPT a cape. Easy to use instructions are somewhat helpful. When using start slow with the longer than you would have used cutting guide to get the feel of it. Don't worry remember hair will allways grow back if cut to short or uneven, enjoy
After several bad experiences at Supercuts for my fiancee, I've decided to buy this so I can cut his hair instead. I was so scared when I opened the box, but the instructions were so simple to follow and the accessories inside were sort of self explanatory. This is a great haircutting set, I highly recommend it!!
Excellent product reasonably priced. With the self help haircutting booklet (included) I can give myself a decent haircut time after time for the one time purchase price that is equal in cost to one store bought haircut. Like Like Like this product and have recommended it to many friends and members of law enforcement and military who choose to wear their hair short and clip it often to keep the neat and clean appearance.
I think I paid something around $15 total for this. It is awesome. Cuts great, real heavy duty feel to it. Someone made a comment about the case being cheap. Well it's plastic, and not indestructible. But everything fits nicely in it. My only problem is, it takes time to put the different length tips (or whatever you call them) back into the case. They take up a lot of space and have to be interlocked together to make them fit inside correctly. It's really not as difficult as I make it sound, I just feel, if I'm going to make a review that is my only complaint. Overall, great product and I have recommended this to friends and family.
I never attempted to cut my hair before.Yet I thought for the price of one haircut I am going to give this a try.I glanced through the instructions but everything is fairly easy.If it turns out bad being a guy I would suck it up and get some one to fix it if I failed.Took me less then 10 miniutes and I am satisfed with the results! So it is easy to easy to use and does a decent job.Price is right. What more can ya ask for!
We're one of those families that cuts our own hair to save money and we've owned a Wahl home kit for over 15 years. It finally got old and we just replaced it with this kit. Just used it this morning and we're happy to have the Wahl quality. Great value.
These clippers are amazing and for the price I was very surprised! The blades are quiet which is a bonus as my 5 year old son is very afraid of loud noises! It;s the first time he has ever sat still and let me cut his hair with absolutely no tears!!!
Now, my boys are thrilled to get a hair-cuts by their father, that they can trust. Thank You Walmart! Mysterios
I am a beginner at cutting hair and it was fairly easy to understand the instructions and to use right away. I used the scissors though and they were very dull and cheap. So overall I paid an inexpensive price and it works fine for what I need to do as a beginner.
In comparison with an old Conair hair cutter I bought for my husband about 5 years ago, this wahl hair cutter does an ok job. I paid around the same price for the Conair that I did for this wahl and I definitely feel I downgraded from my Conair hair cutter. I've been shaving my husbands hair for several years already, and I can tell the difference in performance and quality. First of all, this Wahl hair cutter shakes so strongly that the first time I tried it, I was afraid I was going to cut my husband ears or head somehow. It is also very heavy and the worse of all, it is not wireless. The previous Conair I bought was wireless. Also I need to go over the areas I shaved several times to ensure the thing does its job. It won't cut nicely at once, you have to repeatedly go over the same area again and again. Hubby thinks we may need to buy a higher quality wahl blade and I think that's how Wahl gets you to spend more money. Hubby maintained very neatly the blade of the previous Conair he owned and we never had any issues with the blade, much less thinking of replacing it. We used the same blade for about 5 years and it still cut very nicely. If it wasn't for my cat going by it, dropping it and consequently break it, we would have not replaced the Conair for this Wahl kit. With this new Wahl haircutter we are going to have to replace the blade and hope for the best. Otherwise we are going to have to drop more money for a better haircutter. I really don't want to have to deal with these issues where companies expect you to pay more for better quality items. This is precisely what Wahls does. With Wahl you definitely get what you pay for, if you want a nicer Wahl hair cutter you got to drop at least double the amount this haircutter kit cost. Good luck with your purchase.
