After a few good storms this stand has help our 11' umbrella like a champ. Highly recommended!
This Walker Edison Square Patio Umbrella Base looked better than the picture in the ad. I'm sure it will serve us for a long time. And, the delivery was as promised. A perfect online purchase. Dottie
This umbrella stand has some weight to it. It is built to last.
Fits nicely under our round teak low center patio table.
The base is very nice looking and the product is well made. My only concern is the weight of the base, it is lighter than I anticipated. I have a small patio table and I hope the base is substantial enough to support my 7.5-ft patio umbrella.
Just what we wanted when looking for a base for our umbrella. When we received it, we noticed that there was a defect in the base on the top of the stand. We have contacted the company regarding the defect. They have been very responsive back regarding our concern.
This was a replacement purchase of the same umbrella base bought 5 years ago. It is sturdy and attractive as well as reasonable. I was disappointed that the prior (same) base did not last longer--btw, the other one bought at the same time is still working well. OTOH, one can't argue with the reasonable price.
Simple, understated umbrella base. My only quip is that the screw and nut that hold the column onto the stand is rusted. Why don't manufacturer's of outdoor equipment use stainless steel hardware -- might add $5 to the cost, if that...
Absolute total piece of garbage!! base is warped and doesn't sit flat, plastic head of screw was broken, and the finish is rough and discolored. unfortunately I'm beyond the return window as I purchased this in February for my new patio set that I just assembled a few weeks ago. This will be headed to the trash bin asap!!!
When I opened the small bag of screws/knob, I found that the knob was broken and the screw that was suppose to be attached to the knob was NOT there. Also, a small ring was broke, but that would be easy to replace. My umbrella was too big for the stand, so it was a waste of money.
