The highboy is really sturdy now that it is put together. Many pieces, but they fit well. I think it was a great value, no scratches when delivered.
This unit is very well engineered.It deffinatly needs two people to set pre assembled unit to base.It clicked right into place once I had help. Let the glue dry overnight before handling.I used a super glue of my own.The glue that came with it wasn't very good .Love the highboy looks expensive.
I just love the t.v. stand. Although I am not using it for that. Just what I had been looking for. The Only draw back, was when it was delivered. It had a rather large scratch on the top part of the cabinet. my husband put it together anway. I believe the company packed it this way. At any rate Walmart was more than happy to switch it out, or give a discount. It is just right and a nice price on top of that. Searched around and found Walmart had the lowest price.

I bought this for my living room to replace a very low stand and clean up the wall from the low stand and the ladder shelves next to it. This stand is a classic design that won't go out of style. It looks great. There were a couple problems with the set up though. The pieces that the glass was supposed to go into didn't have drill holes. My beefy boyfriend was able to screw in the glass holders without the drill holes but I don't know that I would have been able to. It came together because of him. Also, they forgot to send the "touch-up" marker, but it was delivered without a ding, so I hope to not need it.
This TV stand is the perfect piece of furniture that I needed in my living room...very classic looking. High-end quality!
Received my purchase in a short time (5 days). Came from Utah to Michigan via truck. The box was heavy when delivered, 125 lbs. all parts were nicely packed with no damage. All holes and screws for assembly were in alignment ( no parts missing) Love the cabinet meets my expectation fully. The assembly was hard. My hands hurt as following the instructions to not use a power tool. I did as instructed. The only difficult thing was afixing the glass door tabs. The holes were not deep enough for the teeny tiny screws to start. We took a sharp object (al)and tapped lightly to start the screws. Love my new purchase and the 55" TV works perfect atop it. My stereo system fits perfect in the bottom cubby. Functional, nice looking, and reasonably priced.
It is perfect. I love the finish, the height and how much it adds to the room. The ONLY reason I do not rate it 5 stars is because it wasn't easy to assemble for me.
The console itself is beautiful, very sturdy, and super heavy! BUT instructions sucked! Came with wood glue and other screws and bolts that didn’t seem to fit anywhere. My husband had to figure it out on his own, took him about 3 hours to set it up! - Now I just hope those screws and glue really weren’t needed! Yikes!
It is a great lookig tv stand. I gave it three stars, because after we were putting it together and had it glued in, we noticed that a part of the front was coming apart. One of the shelves was badly scratched and 12 of the screws to put the glass on the doors were missing. I called the company. They were very nice and helpful. They told me they could send me a replacement for the damaged parts, but I would have to take the whole think apart to replace that one section that was coming apart, but If I do that, I most likely will damage more of the unit. They did send me the replacement shelf and screws, but they sent the wrong size screws. I am waiting for the right ones to arrive. I could have returned the stand to Walmart, but I had not seen anything else that I liked as much as this one, so I kept it. For those of you who are thinking about this stand, my suggestion is to look at all the pieces before you put it together. This way if there is a damaged part, the company will happily send you a new part. They are very easy to deal with and answer the phone!
