It looks nice on the wall and comes with chalk. Not recommended for textured walls, which you don't know until you get it, but it works fin on mine. Has a shinier surface than typical chalkboard decals or the paint and is smooth, also comes with 2 sticks of chalk. Please note that this is NOT RECOMMENDED FOR USE WITH SIDEWALK CHALK. Don't know why or the difference in chalk makeup, but bought sidewalk chalk for it before knowing it had chalk and you weren't supposed to use that. So now the kids have a full box of chalk to drive me crazy with. lol
For some reason I thought this would be bigger and I knew it was 9x25 inches. I stuck it on my painted wood pantry door. It comes w/2 sticks of chalk. I had my doubts about writing on this because it feels like plastic but it worked like a charm. I am over all satsified with my purchase. (I have not tried to reposition it to see if it will stick again)
The chalk board I was looking for to write down grocery lists, to do items, etc. I placed the chalk board on my stainless steel refrigerator door which is the perfect place because I'm vertically challenged and everybody in the house sees it as they go in the fridge. Make sure as you apply the chalk board go little by little to reduce air bubbles. You can only use standard chalk and not sidewalk chalk which they include 2 sticks of standard chalk. I keep the chalk in a ziplock on the side of the refrigerator by using a magnet. I'm pretty happy with this purchase which is better than my other idea of painting a wall with chalk board paint which the results could have been a permanent disaster.
put it up in my kitchen for grocery lists - looks trendy, is handy, and the fact that its peel and stick makes it even nicer.
I'm using my chalkboard in the kitchen for my families weekly dinner menu and those odds and ends we need to pickup for the kitchen. The chalkboard is smaller than I anticipated, but it's a great value for the price. It even came with chalk. Would be better if it came with a device to hold the chalk on a wall, but overall it works for what I need it for and I like it .
I was really excited to get this product but then I opened it... It is very small so beware of that and it kinda looks weird in most places since it does not fill up a space. It does work and erase very well and it sticks. So if you want a useable chalkboard then you may want this one but if you want it for nice decora I don't think this is the best option.
Sticker like chalk board fits most places. Attractive design. Chalk that comes with product not too effective as a writing tool.
This is a very cute chalkboard, however the size is much smaller than I thought it would be.
