I bought overalls from another company and the sizing was totally off. They were gigantic. I could not find my Big Smith overalls available in my size where I live. I was so happy to find your website and get the overalls that are the correct size. Big Smith has been my work uniform for ten years and will be for the rest of my life.
I bought this product 2-3 weeks ago. Normally I find it hard for my leg length in stock, but I was able to get 4 pairs for which I am grateful. I love the style of Big Smith because of the location of bib pockets which I need for my use. Th.e only thing I don't like about Big Smith is the fact that the material fades fast. I have been using them years and am used to the fading problem. I continue to buy them though because I love the fit and the pocket placing. These overalls are more comfortable for me than most. Thank you.
I've been envying people who are "allowed" to wear overalls for years, and finally, I got myself a pair of these. Boy are they comfy and they fit like a glove! I think I still haven't found all the pockets... Wearing overalls all the time now.
They are well made and comfortable. The factory store was ready to purchase the item from and one of the best reason they had the size I needed in stock, cheaper than the local stores, and free shipping if you bought a certain dollar amount. Yes I will buy more
Big Smith had always been my favorite brand of overalls. Key and Liberty don't have pencil pockets and liberty has bib pockets, one in front of the other, so you can only use one at a time comfortably. Also, liberty uses a zipper on one of the bib pockets, so if your a welder, it no longer works after the first use. Also, the pockets on the bib of the Key overalls could be deeper. Round House's pencil pockets aren't deep enough and, although I don't carry a pocket watch, Round House doesn't have a true watch pocket. Dickies have good bib pockets, but the ruler pocket is too narrow. So Big Smith had the best features, it even had a cell phone pocket
Pants stay up no matter what! Comfort is amazing. Cool enough to wear them in summer with a shirt. Who cares what the others think I am only complete in my bibs
I've tried several brands of overalls thru the years and I continue to come back to Big Smith for several reasons, but the single most is that they fit me better than any other brand. To star with, Big Smith is the only maker that continues to offer them in a 28" inseam. I am not one to have my pants drag the ground. I also think the pockets are considerably better placed and I like their design and they are a very good value. I'm very pleased with Big Smith's bib overalls
I have been wearing Big Smith for over 40 years and wouldn't think about buying anything else. My only complaint would be as I got older, I got bigger and it's a sham that if you have a waist bigger then 50 you can't get them any longer than a 32 length, especially when your 6'4".
These are my husbands favorite overalls. He has worn this brand for decades. Hard working men need clothes that work as hard as they do. The only problem lately has been that the straps don't seem to be cut correctly and twist when they are washed on some pairs. They have all been true to size and don't be afraid of the rigid denim. One wash and they are perfect.
I've been buying and wearing Big Smith overalls for decades. Where I currently live, I can't buy Big Smith overalls locally. So I looked at, and tried on the brands that are available. I either didn't like the fit or the pockets. So I ordered Big Smiths from the internet. The fit is perfect. But, as has been the case for far too long, quality control is lax. What I've seen often is pockets that are sloppily made; either too large or too small. With this pair that I just bought, the watch pocket is far too deep. A coin or small tool put in this pocket is very hard to retrieve. I ordered these overalls "stiff". (Thank you, I'll "prewash" and "distress" my denim myself.) The denim is good, but not excellent, displaying imperfections from the first wearing. I find these quality control issues annoying and disappointing in an otherwise GREAT product. With thi
