always used unlocked phones and had T-Mobile prepaid before this. got the kit and followed the website instructions. was up and running on 15mins. depending on the SIM you get you may need to change the APN and MMS settings and restart your phone. the link was provided in a series of welcome text I got after my line was active. text,talk,MMS,and data work just fine. wish I pulled the trigger on this sooner!
This is probably one of the most affordable phone service plus if you are an employee you get additional savings, 33% off of your bill for Walmart employees only.

Poor reception and customer service too. Run, run fast to stay away from this worst of all mobile phone service.
Couldn't activate through online chat. Had to use 611 to activate but after that everything is working fine. They tried to hassle me to -buy a phone- claiming they would not activate it without a new phone model. Why offer a Bring Your OWN phone option if I have to go around them just to activate it on my own phone.
The worst service!!! No coverage anywhere not even in the walmart parking lot!
After buying not one, not two, but three of these and all three of them being âA corrupted simâ I went with another T-Mobile sim card that was easy to set up/worked.
purchased the kit,did as instructions said, can't make calls or receive, Galaxy s8 friend purchased a new phone gave me this one, so I could activate it and be on his Walmart Family plan, today will be fourth time going 60miles round trip, hopefully one of the Advocates will be there who's capable of getting phone working! Otherwise going back to Straight Talk(far better) yet another $50 spent.
7 mbps download speed and 0 upload speed is NOT high speed internet. SEVEN. SEVEN. Are you kidding me. when i restart my phone it takes an hour to get my internet back. A freaking hour. You must own a 2nd phone from another company for the weekly resets required. turn on airplane mode, another hour to get internet up and running again. Ive had cell phones since they came in a huge bag in 1996. hands down the worst service ive had in 27 years. doesnt get any more pathetic than that.
Did not work on my iphone after I paid for the service
