I ordered the Walmart Family Mobile Keep Your Own Phone kit because I was tired of paying double for cell phone service with another carrier and hardly ever having a good, strong signal. I had already purchased a Family Mobile service plan for my mother several years ago and she has never had any complaints about the quality of her calls so I am switching over also. It's great service for a fraction of the cost that I was paying.
Im glad i call %26 listened to my phone provider before purchasing a startup 5g 4 g gsm bring your own sim card ! because i heard and read horrible stories on how they brought the wrong card !!! I'm so sorry that happened . I'm lucky i order straight from My Family Mobile Account ! cause you can't find this type of sims in stores or online store by yourself Walmart Family Mobile send it straight to you ! And if s person is not yet with Walmart Family mobile it's best to call and asked before you buy straight out of Walmart shopping center or online Walmart store ! Cause I learn alot about phone sims card and service plan !!! I learn they all have to line up to work !!!
It's literally just a SIM Card for Family Mobile so that you can activate your own phone on their plan. That's what I really like, the fact that I don't have to spend all the extra money to get a phone on Family Mobile's network.
The items is fine.. The issue was that the mailed pkg was badly smashed. Luckily item survived.. But the mail system or fedEx doent care for persons packages.. Sad.
I was told by Walmart Family Mobile to get a new sim card because they changed to the Verizon network. I ordered this sim card from Walmart, but it is incompatible with the Verizon network, being a T-Mobile sim card. They must have a lot of old sim cards that they can dispose of this way profitably.
To setup is a total nightmare when transfers from a different company make sure u have the transfer PIN number if you want to keep ur number...... they dont like or know how to deal with this situation and will try for you to get a new number also if you have ur own phone it appears they dont like that either..... however after two days and 10 hours I finally got someone who knew what she was doing .... except a lot of hand up disconnection ... if I was to do it again I would not.....
I keep reading reviews that Tracfone bought out T-mobile, all I know is that EVERY month for the past 4 months our phones are shut off. This month I called BEFORE They were shut off because I saw only 1 line being charged; they assured me they would not be shut off this month... Of course they were shut off again and you can't even call for assistance once it's shut off, only make a payment. This month I probably spent 4-5 hours on the phone with several different operators and they added both line as separate accounts and took away the multi line discount. Bothers me that now I have to look for a different service carrier, I need a dependable cell phone carrier. I hope Walmart is listening and fixes this MAJOR problem.
I ordered this SIM card and it arrived late for one and for two it was in horrible condition!! Very disappointed!!
Second sim or phone purchase in 10 days and was unable to activate…lost 2 family mobile refill cards valued at $28 each…was unable to make or receive calls or text ..
DO NOT BUY IF YOU HAVE WALMART FAMILY MOBILE PHONE inside was t-mobile compatible sims card. after 2 hrs and 3 family mobile associates trying to activate card they finally took an old card of mine and reactivated it stating the one I bought that was supposed to be compatible usually never works if you also own a wal-mart family mobile phone.
