This phone actually was better than I was even expecting it would be. I had finally upgraded to a "real" phone from the flip phone I have had for years. This phone had everything I wanted & was easy to navigate through all the new apps. I wanted a phone that could take great pictures & to be able to have a GPS. The pictures turn out great & the GPS is exactly what I wanted. All my kids who are all in their 20's, have had smart phones for years & have been upgrading to newer phones. I knew I had made an excellent choice when they were all impressed by how great a phone this is. I would definitely recommend this phone to anyone especially if you are new to smart phones. Excellent value for the phone.
I bought this phone for my daughter. She loves it. The phone is works perfectly without a glitch. She loves taking pictures with it for her social media accounts and listening to her favorite music. FINALLY no more complaining about how her phone sucks.
Simply a great smart phone
I feel that the LG K7 is one of the better phones being offered by Family Mobile. It is a good value for the money. Expanded memory in mine with a 32GB SD card, and downloaded and am using an ASUS file manager. Phone locks up and needs to be restarted more often than I would like but overall performance is good. For the price I still recommend it as one of the better Family Mobile phone offerings.
I bought this for my son as a replacement to a much more expensive samsung galaxy s5 he broke. He was unsure at first but is very happy now that he is back up and running. The phone has good sound, pictures are good enough for snapchat and instagram.
I bought this phone as a surprise for my mother. She really loves it! The battery holds up pretty good. The only downfall is when she had me on speaker phone I can not hear her to good if she's far away from her phone so I request for her to take me off speaker. If your not a speaker phone talker it's a great phone. I ended up going to metro pcs to find her a phone case. The Walmart I went to did not offer any cases for this phone
Bought this for use on my T-Mobile family plan which I had done in February. Walmart now locks these for the first 40 days . T-Mobile specialists couldn't unlock it and couldn't understand why. Took me 4 wasted days, 3 hours on the phone and a trip to a T-Mobile store before I figured t out.
Be careful, description does not show that it is a locked phone and you need to buy contract. I tried to use this as a replacement for with my T-Mobile sim card, and will not work until you buy Walmarts phone plan for 90 days. Had to return phone to store.
This is definitely not the phone for someone who likes to play a lot of games or take a lot of pictures. I got it as a replacement for my LG V10 whose battery was always overheating plus I was ready to get away from T-Mobile and go to a cheaper plan. Even though I have a SIM card in it it still keeps telling me there's no memory and I have to clear my cache just to download new apps. If you just want a phone to talk and message on and use internet this is probably the phone for you but if you need more than this is not the one to get.
I find walmart.com products woefully lacking in important item details. This phone takes a NANO sim card. Most Walmart Family Mobile phones take a Micro SIM card, so this phone was of no use to us and had to be returned. Had any Walmart stores or Walmart.com even had Nano cards in stock, which they did not, it would have added $25 to the purchase price to be able to use this phone.
