Help keep water in the tank clean
I bought this fish food a week ago and the fish love it. This has the right amount of nutrients for the fish we have. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
This is great food and so very cheap
My black and white skirt tetras seem to love it. They greet me happily at feeding time. Really Walmart, what can I say? It's fish food you asked me to review. :D
Doesn't change the water quality of the tank like many other foods do. Water stays clear and the fish like the food.
Aside from the fact that this fish food gets delivered straight to my house, since I am unable to purchase this size container in the store, I really enjoy the fact that all of my fish seem to like it. As soon as they see me heading towards their tanks with the blue can they all swim to the top to be fed. I have tried the flakes that are colored and my fish just do not want to eat it and I am left with quite a mess at the bottom of my tanks. This food seems to be dye free and more natural looking. The fish variety I have all consume it and there is not a mess to deal with it unlike other fish foods I have tried. In my opinion Wardley makes very good products for aquarium life pets and they are always my go to brand. Whenever someone asks me what I feed all of my fish, and I have over 100 of them, I tell them Wardley Tropical Flakes Fish Food. I wouldn't trust my fish's food supply to anyone else but the worms I catch out of my own garden. There is nothing else that compares!
I think the chunks of Fish food are too big but I smash them up for my Cherry barbs and they go wild for it. There colors are piping more and the water is never cloudy. Smells a lot healthier than Tetra's food. :)
I bought this fish food because the pet shop I use has discontinued the other food that I really liked. I tried their new food but was not happy with it and my fish didn't like it. My son lives in Airdrie AB and told me he uses this food. I tried it and my fish love it. I have fancy guppies, three gouramis and a couple of platies. They all love it. My tank is clear, the fish all have wonderful colours and they are having lots of babies. So it must be good for them. My filters don't have a lot on them like the other food. I'm very happy with it and will continue to buy this food.
Most of the flakes are brown so if you have picky fish be warned, mine only seem to like the orange flakes
My fish don't like this stuff. They love the x-treme foods especially the krill flakes.
