Am very happy with this purchase. A simple concept but very well made. The chickens love it. What more could I ask for? I am expanding my chicken coop shortly and will order more of these. I love the handle which makes it so easy to clean.
3 of these fit perfectly in chicken hutch
15 MINUTES AFTER FED X DELIVERED IT AND I PUT HAY IN IT ONE OF THE HENS SAW IT AND WAS IN IT LAYING.
Love the product. The Hens fight over one to stay together instead of using their own. Cozy and fits in their coop perfectly, hens go right to it to nap. Only wish they'd actually lay eggs in it!
We just unpacked it from the box and it fit perfect in the Ware chicken-n-hutch that we had ordered and assembled!
Our chickens took right to this nesting box, and have been using it every night. It obviously meets their needs, and is easy to grasp, move, empty and clean for me! Nice product!
i purchased this product at the same time I ordered the Deuxe Chicken coop. It looks exactly as pictured, but it doesnt fit in the coop. In fact, this coop has 2 built in nesting boxes, so even if it physically fit, it wouldnt be necessary. Looks like its made well, nothing fancy...but looks like it would work well for another coop/set up! I have to return mine! :)
Ordered two of these when I bought the chicken coop which came up as accessories - they were way to big for the Coop - Sent them back.
I ordered four of these items and the order was processed quickly. Shipment and delivery were within days. The problem was that only one item was delivered. After calling customer service, they decided that the shipping weight and box size was really too small for the four items. Two weeks have gone by and I still haven't heard from Hayneedle or received the missing items. I emailed another request for an update earlier this week and still haven't heard back from your company.
This item is sturdy, and pretty much as it looks int the picture, but it is being sold improperly as an accessory for the Hayneedle Habitats Deluxe Coop. It's way to big to fit in the coop in the nesting area of the coop! I would hope Hayneedle will correct having this linked as an accessory for the Habitats Deluxe Coop! [...]
