The DVD set I bought of the St. Louis Rams' playoff and Super Bowl victories worked extremely well. The DVD was in perfect condition, the sound and picture were everything I could have hoped for. And it was great to see the games in their entirety with the original announcers calling them. However, two things I should note: 1) in the Super Bowl broadcast, a few minutes of the contest are skipped. You'll notice play jump a few minutes ahead randomly. I'm not sure the reason for this except perhaps to be able to fit the game onto the disc. It's not a big deal and I don't think any scoring is cut out, but the packaging, to my knowledge, doesn't mention this and thus I thought it worth noting. 2) While the games were great, much of the commentary was cut out right before you hit a commercial break because the commercials were cut out and the audio then fades. It's wonderful that the commercials are excised, but I felt I missed a lot of the "icing on the cake", the peripheral commentary, so to speak, that occured after a play and right before a commercial. This was also especially evident to me at the end and beginning of the games. The games are completely there, but the DVD begins pretty much right at kickoff and ends very close after the final whistle, so that you don't get to see or hear the crowd, announcer or player reaction after the games. This was especially disappointing for me at the end of the Super Bowl. With such a fantastic finish, I was hoping to see oodles of reaction, but the DVD cut off about five seconds after the final whistle. So overall, a fun experience, but I think it would have been greatly improved by extending the discs a bit to provide for the commentary and reaction. For me, that's the main reason why I watch the games again. To see the genuine reactions of those who were there and at the time, did not know what was going to happen.
