Just to let you all know. If you buy this model or any of the other models they have, you'll enjoy a nice deep cleaning of your teeth and gums. My gums would bleed every know and then. But since I switched to an power toothbrush and the waterpik I have, I've had nothing but better teeth, gums and breath. I have my setting on either 9 or 10 and it's about a full 2 minutes of your time for the water to clean out the food particles from in your teeth or bridge work.
It's a solid unit with a wide range of water pump strength. I've tried the competing brand, and I have returned to the WaterPik.
I really like this water flosser. It is compact and easy for me to use. I can only use one hand and I can't use regular floss. This makes it easy to get my teeth clean.
My family got their first Water Pik over fifty years ago, and I am so pleased with this current model. It is elegantly and economically designed! I can charge and store it outside my tiny bathroom, and then easily bring it into the bathroom each evening to use without having to plug it in. I could not be happier with this purchase!
The now Ion model is a significant improvement over my earlier corded Waterpiks. It is much quieter, too! The new valve mechanism between the reservoir and the base unit appears to much improved and I am hopeful that the new design will minimize the need to replace my earlier models' rubber gasket.
Everything about this WaterPik is great (assuming you're shopping for a countertop model vs handheld). It takes up the least amount of space both footprint-wise and vertically as compared to other WP models and other brands, so if you have a medicine cabinet hanging super low and close to your counter, this WP might still work since it's not that tall. I've included a pic to show the difference between the Ion and the WP Aquarius, with my electric toothbrush and face masks for scale. The reservoir holds plenty of water; no need to refill mid-cleaning. The charge holds for about 3 weeks. The motor is not very loud so you won't disturb others. The only bad thing about this model is that you have to be very careful taking the reservoir tank off the base to fill it with water. You have to pretend you're playing the kids' board game, Operation, and make sure the sides of the reservoir tank doesn't touch the sides of the base, otherwise, it makes that horrible nails-on-a-chalkboard noise. It's really awful. That's my only complaint and I wish the WP folks would figure out how to fix the materials so that horrible noise doesn't happen.
works as described - I really like the adjustable pressure. Quite noisy and I'm not sure what the lights mean, but this is a great product.
This waterpik is great for many reasons. Its not bulky and holds a good amount of water. It stays charged for a long time. It comes with so many attachments that I havent even tried them all yet. It also is lightweight and has many settings for soft to more water pressure. Worth the money for sure.
I had never used a water flosser before I purchased this. The directions were easy to understand & I love the 14-Day Challenge. It definitely took me a few days to learn how to properly use it! But I love the clean feeling & am now using the glosser 2X/daily. I string floss first; then water floss; then brush my teeth.
I was in need of a waterpik to floss my teeth. Using floss was no longer working for me. To much trouble. I had bought a small waterpik that you use with one hand. Well that was just to funny because I made a mess. That one cut my gums. Took it back and later on bought the waterpik I have now. WOW this is really great and I am very happy with my waterpik. I have tried all the picks that came with this and have just one the pik pocket.
