Great brush excellent pull
Been reading reviews about the brush shedding alot, this is normal..the boar bristles are overstuffed, so you will see some shedding for about two weeks. Brush has good pull, not really a firm brush..more of light medium brush. This Brush will give you waves if used properly. My only issue with this brush is, the bristles are short.
Fights the frizzies and feels oh so good. It doesn't scrape or hurt like the synthetic bristle brushes do. Looks wonderful too. I have to buy another as my son keeps sneaking mine haha!
My hair is not wavy. I was simply looking for a firm boar brush and this one works out perfectly. The firm bristles help to evenly distribute natural oil throughout my hair. After brushing, my hair feels silky smooth to the touch. The brush is well made, heavy with wood handle.
Great brush if you're look to establish deep waves or simply maintain them.
This is for you if you're looking for a brush that actually has hard bristles.
This brush is ideal for maintaining the wave pattern, as a caution the bristles are very firm at the first use. I think you have to gradually adjust your hair brushing style
Got this for its reasonable price, but not that great on use. I feel its hard on my hair and caused some of my hair to be pulled !
Usually a great brush, but the second I started using this one the bristles began to fall out. No product in my hair and very little force while brushing. Utterly disappointed. A whole section had fallen out after just one use. I don't know if it's just my brush that was made poorly, or if the quality of this brand has plummeted in recent years.
I've never known a boarhair brush to actually smell, and I've owned several in my life. I threw away the package because I thought I wasn't going to have any problems with it. How did I not notice the smell, you ask? Who thinks to sniff brush heads before buying it? I've washed it with shampoo and let it completely dry, but it's the bristles themselves. I'll never buy this brand ever again.
