I bought this for my granddaughter for her birthday and she loves it! The colors are pretty and it is easy to use. She just turned 9 and has no problem using it herself.
I bought this product because I had heard hair chalk looked cool. (That's what my friends said) I wanted to buy something that wasn't too expensive, but still worked. I tried this out recently. I didn't want it to look so bright that it would look silly. However, some of the colors barely even showed up! The blue, no matter how hard I tried, wouldn't show up. The green was lighter, but okay, same with the yellow. I don't know if there was supposed to be a red, but it looked like pink. The pink was just how I wanted, not to bright, but not to light. The purple was lighter and looked a lot like the pink. I might recommend this product to someone else if the colors actually showed up and it was easier to apply. Will try a better brand next time.
If you are looking for cheap party favors and a super subtle look, then this is fine. I tried it out on my hair and it worked best on nearly dry hair, not wet hair...then it was so lightly colored you could hardly see the pink. Blue didn't show up at all. It took a long time and lots of rubbing to get what color I did get. I ended up going out to get the spray on colors instead.
I followed the instructions and this applies zero color to hair. Might as well be a weak set of crayons. Don't waste your money.
