They do in fact show different colors in the flames. they come with little plastic pieces for the bottom of each candle, burn a little fast. turn the lights off to really see the colors. great deal for the price and will be buying again!
I love that they have the holders with the candles. Also love that they do not drip Green is the prettiest
The colored flames were pretty good. Funny thing is I couldn't see the color of the flames closest to me as I was standing behind the cake. The birthday girl couldn't see the flame colors on the candles at the front of the cake, closest to her. So I guess if you're too close to the flames, the color doesn't show. They were still fun. The little plastic candle holders are tiny, not like the “normal” sized ones that I remember from when I was a kid…still better than no candle holders, though.
Love, love,love These candles! I give them out as gifts all the time. They are so colorful and beautiful. I recommend this to anybody for a festive celebration.

Good candles. They are a little brittle (the 7yo was helping with the cake for his sister and broke one). Perfect quantity for us since my daughter turned 12.
Burned quickly but flames were the colors indicated. Kids really got a kick out of different colors.
These were so cute the flame is the color of the candle, definitely need darkness to see full potential color but they lasted a long time on!
The color of these candles was sort of waxy like cheap crayons, and you can't see the flame hardly at all unless it's dark. The packaging does say that you can't see the colored flame in the daylight. I didn't realize that meant you wouldn't be able to tell for sure if the candle was lit! The colored flame part is a cool idea but these are definitely something one would choose to use in the dark and only for that purpose.
They are ok. The flame is supposed to be the color of the candle. So pink candle pink flame etc. it is but the flame is hard to see, very faint color.
