I bought the whitewash & it's not really whitewash. It can easily be painted to whatever color you want. I would recommend for the quality vs price.
I like it!
This easel is to be used for a heavy wooden Welcome sign for a formal wedding. It is beautifully made, looks hand-carved with a sheaf of wheat (perfect for a wedding as wheat represents abundance, life, fertility and self-sacrifice). The carving at the very top, also looks like a heart. The description did not state this detail, but the easel 'shelf' is adjustable to different heights and has a knob you turn to hold the position. Our sign is quite large and fits very well on this easel, with the carving still showing at the top. The only concern is that the color stated ""white"" or 'whitewash' and it is neither, it is a light yellow. We are painting it a distressed white for our use, but it is pretty, it just isn't white. Came well packaged, huge box, no damage to box or contents. I'm very pleased and my daughter loves it for her wedding sign. I would definitely buy this again!
came out of the box broken. very cheaply made, especially for the price. not quite as pretty as i thought it would be from the (bad) photo.
The easel was constructed well and sturdy but the color was supposed to be ivory; unfortunately the finish was yellowed. I had to use a primer on it then paint it. The chain that was attached was rusty and had to be replaced as did the hardware holding the chain. The only positive aspect: the easel is sturdy.
