This is the best flat top attachment I have. With this grill it is a 4 burner griddle that cooks everything to perfection. I have prepared every breakfast dish I could think of and smash burgers are becoming a family favorite. I would highly recommend this product.
Great grill. Duh. Why did I wait so long to get a Weber.
I purchased the griddle to use on my Searwood XL 600. It's a perfect fit and am pleased with my purchase. In the first week of owning the griddle I've cooked chicken and french toast. Looking forward to more cooks!
We absolutely love our griddle insert, was such a great addition to our grilling experience. We have used it for grilling everything from pancakes to fajitas and everyone including our kids have given rave reviews!
This thing is amazing. Smash burgers, grilled chops, chicken fried rice, and more meals are fantastic on this griddle. It's heavy but an excellent cooking surface. Highly recommended. Not rusting and follow instructions for first use.
New Weber griddle insert lived up to all my expectations right of the box! The fit was spot on and cooked a wonderful first breakfast on griddle - bacon, sausage, and a big mess of hash browns.

Currently I only have a handful of cooks on this, it had been pretty good so far. The cooking surface space is perfect for my needs, I considered the half insert offered, but it looked too small. The downside is also the size, I still use my grill with the original cooking grates so when I want to use the grates I have to find somewhere to put the griddle. It is too big to put in the cabinet below, so I end up setting it on the table of my performer. So I end up losing a surface I sometimes use for setting things on. Other than that I like it.
Seemed to work as described. Was unaware of the seasoning process and the amount of grease that pooled on ther surface. The food cooked well on low but the heat did seem to vary tho I kept ot low.
Took delivery of this about 3 weeks ago after it sat in my shopping cart for months in end. I've since cooked eggs, bacon, pancakes, hash browns, smash burger sliders and dogs. Not cheap, worth every penny. Weighs like 20lbs and built like a fortress. I seasoned 4 times before first use and I can already tell this thing will outlive me….so on-brand for Weber!
