My last Weber gas grill lasted 27 years. I replaced grates, flavor bars, and burners. I finally had to get rid of it when the square tube steel stand rusted out. I then purchased 3 other brands of grills and gave them all away because they didn't meet my expectations. I finally purchased the E310. We've had it a year and use it 4-6 times a week year round. It works so well that my wife told me I had to buy another Weber E310 for our lake house so we can grill out 7 days a week. Hint: My old Genesis Silver grill had two layers of flavor bars perpendicular to each other whereas the E310 has only one set. Since the flavor bars are the same size, I took the second layer from the old grill and laid them on top of the E310's single layer of flavor bars so my E310 now has two layers of perpendicular bars as well. While the E310 cooked very evenly before, it does excellent now and there are even fewer flame-ups.
I have owned this grill for 3 years now and Weber grills are the best you can buy for the money! I love my Spirit gas grill, it cooks evenly, fast and the food tastes great on it. If I would have known, I would have bought the larger Genesis model. Weber gas grills are rated #1 by Consumer Reports, as I am a subscriber. Don't waste your money on a cheap grill like Uniflame, Charbroil etc. I have friends that have these grills and they are made cheap, flare up and don't even cook evenly. My friends Uniflame flared up so badly, I was about to call the fire department. lol Like I said, Nothing Like a Weber!
When it came time to replace my old grill, I didn't hesitate to look at a Weber. I did get sticker shock, which subsided after extensive research. I settled on the Spirit versus the Genesis, because I felt the Spirit line offered better value. I also chose the 3 burner over the 2 burner model, because 3 burners offer more flexibility in terms of indirect cooking. Cooking with my Weber Spirit 310, has been great. As advertised, no flare-ups and even cooking. I even researched what's the best way to cook with these Webers and all the advise I've read is spot on. Make sure you preheat the grill to 500 degrees. Oil the food not the grates, cook with the lid down, follow the recommended cook times as a starting point and use brass bristled brush to clean. My grilling has definitely improved. I just wish that I had gotten this grill earlier and spent a little time learning how to grill better in the beginning. Use the resources that Weber provides to you for free for perfect grilling and get out there and grill!
wow....what a deal, price wise at walmart. You can't go wrong with a weber grill. Heats right up evenly...all steel/stainless steel construction. Took me longer to unpack everything then to assemble it. I never owned a weber grill before because of the price but now I am hooked! Always bought a cheap one that lasted 2-3 years. Hopefully this will be my last gas grill.
I hesitated to spend this much money on a grill, but decided, based on other ratings to go ahead and get it. I am glad I did. The grill is much sturdier than my previious grill. It was easy to put together. I did it myself in about an hour. We have used it several times already. It is even heating and easy cleaning. Good value for the money.
I have had my 310 for about 4 years now and am going to finally replace the cooking grates this year.Would highly recommend everyone checking this grill out for the price and the cooking experience they will have.all food i have cooked on this has had an excellent flavor and was cooked even no matter if it was cooked in the front middle back.
I was in Wal Mart last night and browsed through the garden dept where I saw this grill on display with a price tag of $350.00 new in box. I had been researching this grill and the lowest price I have found it was $499. I bought the grill and have just finished putting it together. I have to say this is the easiest grill to assemble. After years of buying cheap grills I am looking forward to having this one for many years to come. The only thing I wish this model had was the cast iron grates, but I can always buy them later.
This grill is wonderful! Great quality at a great price. Would recommend to everyone. Weber makes a fabulous product.
I bought this grill in 2012 and it's still hanging in there. The electric igniter gave out probably 2 years into owning it, but other than cleaning the grill every few months - it's still rocking. I did have to go in one time and clean out each and every little hole that the gas flows through, as most of them had cooking buildup on them but once I did that, my grill was like new again. I think I will have to do that again soon though. I will definitely need to buy a new set of flavorizer bars (this would be my 2nd set since buying the grill). I love the grill. I will probably keep it another 12 years.
Just did a few steaks and cooked evenly all times, Happy so far, nice unit. Assembly is ok, easier than some projects I've gotten into. Kabobs and chicken next
