To install the Drive Reach OTR, first select where to mount the outside antenna. This is the most important step as it determines the performance of your booster. Check that the antenna is at least 12 inches from all other antennas and openings to avoid interference. The antenna can be secured using the included 3-way mount on a rack or mirror arm. Use the modular mast extensions to ensure the right height for your antenna, from 7.5 to 40 inches. Once the outside antenna is installed, run the coax cable behind the weather stripping of an opening into your cab. Next, mount the inside antenna by using the adhesive strips to attach it to the dash or a seat. We recommend keeping the inside antenna at least 12 inches away from where you’ll most often use your phone. Then run the coax cable to the booster. Plugin both the outside and inside cables. Now, plug in the power cord to the booster. Finally, plug the power adapter into your vehicle’s power supply and turn on the booster. When the green light is on, it’s working. The truck cell booster is a great asset. Living and traveling in rural areas having few towers creates problems with reception. This booster has been tried in some dead zones and the phones had service! It only took about 30 minutes to install. I'm so glad to have it.
I've now had this booster for a month. I've put this thing to the test; after several trips up into the mountain and poor to no signal with the booster off, it became a usable signal for calls, data, and texting. The common misconception these things have is people think they can create a signal out of nowhere; it takes the signal it can find and amplifies it. The overall quality of the booster is excellent. With an abundance of mounting options, I opted to mount and use the spring far away from the internal antenna. I used the caliraised led tailgate mount, then put the internal antenna behind the radio bezel next to my phone mount for a clean install. Out of sight and out of mind, it is wired to turn on when I turn on my truck and off after 90 seconds of the truck being off, so I don't think about it. I live in a valley where service is subpar, and now I can watch videos, upload reels to Instagram, and make calls, and they do not drop!
It makes a big difference I own the OTR drive reach and the basic drive reach. I live in an area with decent service to begin and data speeds improve dramatically wherever I go in my area but there's areas that I struggle to send text messages and take 3+ tries to send now send in seconds. The OTR antenna definitely connects to 5g more often and keeps the signal farther distances than the magnetic antenna but they both work great. I'm definitely sold and will never travel without one on any of my vehicles Have traveled to Montana from mn and northern mn frequently only one spot in Morristown sd area I didn't have good service in between hills I wouldn't have service but on the top of the hills I would have it again is the only area that I had trouble. Really happy with this product and have recommended it to my friends and family

This booster works awesome for someone with a truck who travels a lot! Easy to install and use. Helps give you a reliable and stronger cell signal. The quality of calls is so much better and less dropped calls. Works with all US carriers. My internet and data are much faster also! I highly recommend!!
We generally camp and drive off the beaten path to explore places. At times our cell reception has been spotty or not worked at all. The booster helped make calls clearer and more stable. It isn't a miracle worker though. If there's no coverage, then it is what it is. Simple to install and didn't take a lot of time. Depending on your tastes, you may be inclined to buy a different mounting bracket. If you're good at electrical, you can also modify this to be hardwired into your vehicle instead.
I live in a bad cell area. It doesn't matter which carrier I'm using at the time (Verizon, Sprint, now with Tello GSM) I can only get 1 bar. I installed this signal booster and turned it on. I went from 1 bar to 2 bars. I turned it off and I went back to 1 bar. I repeated this 6 times or so and always the same result. I can definitely say this signal booster works! However, I do not believe the reviews that state the user went from no bars to full bars or that they found a signal where there never was a signal before. There has to be some signal available for the unit to amplify otherwise nothing can happen. This cell booster does not turn your vehicle into a cell tower or power station. It simply amplifies the available signal. The kit is very well thought out and includes everything you will need to install. Installation is simple. There is nothing to hard wire into your vehicle's electrical system. Just plug the power supply into a cigarette lighter. The power supply has a toggle switch to turn the unit on and off. The antennas connect through small coax cables into the main unit. It is recommended in order to get the maximum benefit from the booster that you separate the 2 antennas as much as possible. If the outside antenna is mounted in the back of the vehicle, mount the inside antenna in the front of the cabin area, and vice versa. I recommend checking out the weboost web site. They have a full line of accessories available including several different antennas. You can also get installation advice and user tips there.
Great product. Easy installation, easy set up, and directions. Great line of sight reception but not so much in hills, unfortunately because our hunting land is in such geographical location. The very reason I purchased the unit is because of the location and little to no cell reception.
Does what it says, If you only have 1 bar, it will usually boost it up to 2. However the price point is really high for the level it boosts your signal. Considering the other versions are weaker, I wonder if they even work.
