Our reception was extremely poor at best. After installing the booster we haven't lost any calls and have great reception. We like it so much that we are ordering another one for our shop. Best investment ever!
Had 2 locations in a very large house with zero signal. Basement level with 16” thick poured concrete walls and lots of steel and a 12” thick concrete ceiling with more steel. Installed a weBoost in each area. Perfect clear calls and reception works great.
I recently purchased the Complete Home device for our metal office building. It was extremely easy to install and works great. We have not had a dropped call since installing the booster.
Went from 1 bar in house to 3 to 4. Also get 4G. Now I can make phone calls in house I can make phone calls without going outside.
This product works really well, the cell service in my area is really spotty. I could usually make a call by putting my phone on speaker and setting in my kitchen window. With this device and internet service through US Cell I no longer wait on the spinning arrow when watching you- tube videos. I have cell phone service now, anywhere in my house and even outside if I don't get too far from the booster. It has made it possible for me to stop using my landline and do all my calls with the cell phone. Inside the house it way better than outside. I really like it, no more dropped calls. The price was a wee bit high, but for the improvement in service, worth every penny. It was a good investment in being able to use my cell devices and saves me about 2/3 of what I paid for satellite internet. I went from usually having 0 bars in the house to almost always having 3 bars. Works really well for me. I would have taken a little bit more boost if I could have, but what I have is a BIG improvement. I went ahead and gave 5 stars, because US Cell and the installer told me my signal was pretty weak here and I may not get the boosted signal I wanted, but as stated previously, it works really well for the price and is a big improvement over my higher priced satellite service. I am happy.
Almost no signal 1 bar to 5 bars! Ontech came on time, in mask, and we discussed about the location of the interior antenna. I wanted the wires to be hidden, they did exactly what we wanted. They located the closest cell tower, discussed with me where the donor antenna going to be. Excellent & professional. My signal was -129dBm, now it's -93dBm ! Just amazing improvement, it's a leap not a step. See my pictures.
The best thing about this weBoost product is, it was installed and I can now forget about it! We have it located on my second floor and it provides increased cell signal throughout the entire house. I can be in the basement, and in my storage rooms, and I still have cell phone coverage. Previously, I got no bars on my phone down there. Our home got almost no signal before the device, and now with the device installed I get at least two bars even in my basement. The installer was great too, he was professional, and gave me multiple options of where we could have the inside antenna installed. He helped us understand how the signal works, where the outside antenna needs to be, and why we most likely had poor signal in our neighborhood. He also showed us the before and after signal strength on his meter. He even showed up to our house on time. Bottom line: the device works as advertised. We had it install a few weeks ago, and it's so nice to have a phone that I can actually use now. I wish I had known about this product and gotten it years ago.
Great that installation was included and troubleshooting (they sent another tech since first one installed it incorrectly). Signal boost was not significant and very limited to like 10 ft within the booster where I thought I could cover at least a few rooms. I also did not know placement of booster would be very restricted to just where coax cable came into the house.
weBoost product works as advertised! 5G signal now services entire house, 4 bars throughout Home is built into the side of a ravine, with roof level ~ 10 feet above street level, so height (line of sight) a major issue. Booster solved problem.
Worked at our last address. Ordered stronger one for new address. Longer thicker cable difficult to work with. Instructions not very good on what to avoid like metal ductwork or to place inside antenna in area you want most boost. Figured it would radiate throughout being stronger model. Not working after several hours installing. Bummer
