This weed eater lawn mower not only cuts the grass, it wacks down the weeds also. It cuts off when the bag gets full. I would reccomend this product to anyone who is looking for a good working lawnmower.
Must have looked at 12-15 different mowers by different manufacturers, most did not come with the grass catcher, and when I asked what the cost was for the catcher most had no idea or said it would take 4-6 weeks for them to get it. I really liked the fact that this mower is a three in one it has side discharge, mulches and came with the GRASS CATCHER, and does a great job on my lawn.... way to go Wal-Mart and Weed Eater
I've had my Weedeater 21" side discharge for about 5 years. I only use it to trim, but it sits outside year round. I hit the primer bulb 3 times and it starts everytime, even after sitting out over the winter. I will definitely buy another one.
A bit underpowered for mulching high grass. Air filter must be cleaned VERY often in dusty conditions. Starts eazy and runs well. My only problem, after three years of heavy use, is that the spot welds holding the front deck baffle (to the deck) failed, causing the blade to contact the loosened baffle. Now I need a new blade and deck baffle.
This has been a great mower. Even after spending the winters in the garage it starts on 2 or 3 pulls. After that first start it starts on the first pull every time. I'm in my 4th year with this mower an I still like it. Still has the original spark plug. No issues with the B&S engine at all. After year 2 I took the blade to have it sharpened. The shop wanted $20 to sharpen the blade so I just bought a new one for $28. Great mower for a small to medium yard (1/2 acre or less). The only 2 things I would wish for is a little larger motor (bogs down a bit in moderatlely high or damp grass) and a larger grass bag (easy to empty, but I would like to do it less). For the money, I don't think you could do any better.
This a fair to good mower for the money, the rear bag and the side discharge work well but it is too underpowered for mulching. My biggest complaint if you have sandy soil (Florida) the air cleaner element will clog, I have to stop and clean it 2-3 times mowing a small corner lot during the dry season. My 15 year old Murray never clogged. I'm looking for thumb screws so I can remove the air cleaner top without a screw driver.
This mower works ok for a quick fix. The mulching system is weak it leaves a path to the side of mower no matter how high or low your grass is. The bagging seams to work well but the bag is kinda small. If you are going to bag it is ok mower. Don't recommend if you are planning to mulch.
From the ad this product seemed sturdy and a great mower for the price. I bought it in the winter, so my first chance to use to was last week. I was very disappointed, being on a budget I couldnt really afford a mower but... The front wheel wouldnt even touch the ground, I spent atleast 20 minutes trying to get the wheels level so all 4 would hit the ground, but they wouldnt. It looks sturdy but once up close its very cheap and basic. After trying to cut my grass, it sounds great but it didnt even look like the grass was cut, and it started out long. But when i would adjust the wheels it would drag the ground. So I am stuck trying to find someone to fix this for me, I cant lift it to send it back, sad thing is i had it delivered so in all it costed me about 238.00 I could have paid the boys around the block to cut my grass all summer for that. So if you phurchase hope your luck is better than mine!
I was very disappointed, and ended up taking it back. It was very diffucult to start. Even with priming it would take at least 7-9 pulls to get it going. It ran vey rough, and there was a lot of blue smoke as if it was using oil. I don't know if I just got a lemon or what, but I definately would not recommend this mower.
I had bought a 20" Weedeater lawn mower a little over 2 years ago, and the frame itself has rusted out. We ran the mower until the wheels came off. (Literally) We had contacted the Weedeater company concerning this and was informed that they would not replace it, we would have to go to a lawnmower shop and buy one; also stating that I didn't know how to fix it anyway. My husband and I both know how to work on International tractors, I believe we have enough sense to replace a lawnmower deck.
