Just what we wanted & needed

After watching infomercials and browsing the Internet I looked at Walmart.com. My neighbor has the expensive one from the infomercials and she loves it. My daughter-in-law and her mother each own the Weider version & love it. With three rave reviews I looked and waited. The price actually went DOWN on this model and I bought it using Walmart.com & site-to-store. Assembly was relatively easy & it's not so hard on my ankles when used as instructed. I will say you have to read the ENTIRE manual as you do not want to go full inversion from the get go! My whole family uses it.

Haven't used one of the more expensive inversion tables, so I can't compare. This is the least expensive, and it is easy to use. I read the revue that said the chain was not good. I don't know if the chain has been enlarged in the meantime, but the one on my machine appears to be plenty big enough for even the largest users. I'm glad I bought this one--I can't see why one would spend a lot more for one of the others. One minor complaint: There are lots of parts and it takes an hour to put it together. Once together, though, it's strong and functions well.

This is a very good product. I am 6'4" 255 lbs. This is very comfortable and fits me fine with no worries. It took me about 1.5hrs to put together with my kids "helping". All you need is one size allen wrench (included) and it helps if you have a ratchet set. But it's not necessary. I would recommend this to my mother let alone you.

GREAT Inversion Table!

This table was so easy to put together, I was able to complete it in about an hour while crawling around with a bad back. The parts are labeled precisely, they are easy to identify, and the instructions are grade-school level. And talk about well-built! It is extremely sturdy even when bending and twisting while inverted. The pad is comfortable, as are the foot brackets. The degree of inversion and the resistance level adjustments and are done very easily. No pinch points are visible and the U-handles make it a breeze to return yourself to the upright position. At this pricepoint, I can't imagine what the more expensive models would offer that you can't find on the Weider Club table. Plus, it's a brand you can trust. If you have syatica, a bad back, or compressed spine, 20-30 minutes a day on this unit will have you start feeling better in a short amount of time. They even have a section that outlines a regimen for using the table, but you may find it easier to make your own! All in all, a great well-built table for a very low price. I'd HIGHLY recommend this unit!

I've had back pain fo 8 years. Saw one of these tables on t.v. and decided to try it. The Weider table is perfect. After my first 3 minutes I felt a great release from my back pain. The table is easy to use, has foam padding to secure your feet and a very secure chain to prevent you from inclining too far.

At first glance it seemed like a huge task but with the enclosed directions, my son and his girlfriend put it together in no time. The chain had to be adjusted a few times to facilitate returning to the upright positon. I like it's sturdy constuction. I also like the fact that I can close it, however it is a bit heavy so I've opted to leave it opened. The only minus is the way it hits the stopper when returning to the upright position.

Good Machine

Good product overall! It does seem to lay back very quickly, and getting back upright is somewhat difficult (can't just try to sit up or move your arms to move your center of gravity). Once you find the right adjustments, it's not too bad though. If you have small children around, I strongly recommend using the lock cable that comes with it every time you are done with the machine! Overall, the machine works very well. It helps my back, and surprizingly with my knees as well!

quite sturdy

For the $ I found the product very sturdy. The foot 'clamp' part moves around and feels too loose, but functionally, it's fine. Do use the machine with shoes on, as directed. It is much more comfortable. Play around with the height adjustment to find what balances for you. I, 5'5" and my husband 6' use the machine on the same setting, 5'7". It's a question of where your weight lies. If we were changing the adjustment I would get a pin with a D shaped retainer, as the pull out pin is a hassle.

Worth the money

This inversion table is made sturdier than other models I have owned and this cost less. However, it is higher off the ground than most, so one has to sort of climb up onto the foot mount. Also, no matter how you calibrate it, it is challenging to return upright. These tables are normally more balanced, and should allow you to lift arms to gently go back, then bring arms down to return. Not so with this model. There is no gentle back or return. If a person was the least bit mobile challenged, this model is not for you. Or you might need a spotter when using it. I simply wanted it for disc pressure release, so it suits my needs. I'm happy with it, it was worth the money.

The table does not balance and is very difficult to return to the upright position. The foot holder is comfortable enough but the mecinism is too short and does not function properly for my feet which are size 12. The chain which limits the rotating angle of inversion is cheap and lightweight. The chain is bending and will need to be replaced. I weigh 230. I have had my 13 yr old 115 lbs daughter try it and she had the same problems. Don't waste your money.
