This treadmill accomplishes exactly what we needed and for the price point, if it only lasts a few years, then we would just buy a new one. This isn't a high quality treadmill but it looks nice setup and works great.
I bought this treadmill to run about 30 - 35 minutes at 4mph - 6mph 5 days a week. The treadmill is durable, easy to use and just the right size. It works great and exceeded my expectations for the price.
We had a treadmill that was over ten years old, was time for a new one. It took us about 20 min to get it put together, was not a lot to do. I was not able to walk on our old treadmill but this one is a breeze to walk on for me( I have had a total knee replacement) and my husband says its like going from a clunker to a Cadillac. I am 71 and he is 73 and we really are so pleased with how good this treadmill is. I use it every day and he uses it every day or two. If you want a good product for a good price then this is it.
Purchased on line with Site to Store option. Shipped to store in a few days. Pick up was fast and easy considering it was around Christmas time. We feel this treadmill is a good value as it was priced lower than the lesser 5.2 offered on Amazon. Assembly was easy. My wife, who is quite handy, completed the assembly by herself in fairly short order. All parts were present and fit as they should. Operation of the treadmill is simple. Keep in mind this is a fairly basic unit. No frills. If you want fancy, this ain't it. It was purchased to allow some walking exercise during the winter months when its just to uncomfortable to walk outside. For this, it is perfect. We are satisfied and would recommend the 5.9.
The treadmill took like 15 minutes to set up and has been fantastic ! You can take a leisurely walk on it on a rainy day or set it to fat burning mode and burn lots of calories. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants a sturdy, reliable treadmill without spending a ton of money.
I've had the treadmill for only two weeks, so I can't speak to its durability, but it works very well and wasn't very hard to assemble. My biggest problem was its weight in getting it in the house and out of the box. If you have trouble lining up the base, put some packing material under the front - it'll then be a snap.
I was concerned if I could fold it up and wheel it in the closet. It is a bit heavy for me as I am a small person but I can do it pretty easily and I was glad it fit in the closet. All the treadmills I looked at were bigger than this one so if you want a really great smaller treadmill this is a good one. We have used it almost every day since we got it.
I really like the treadmill. There was a delay, though, because it was damaged in shipping and I had to wait for replacement parts, then wait until my terrific husband and daughter fixed it for me. I have it set up in my office where I normally sit ten hours a day. Now I jump on it even if it is for a few minutes. I am working my way to fitness. I recommend the treadmill.
If you're looking for a treadmill, save your money and go for a better one such as a bow flex or golds gym. This one was loud, the heart rate monitor was always incorrect, and it leaked more grease then it used. I bought it on a Thursday and took it back on Monday. Worst thing ever.
I am extremely upset with this purchase. I am 80 years old, dragged this 116 pound package into my workroom, uncrated everything, then found out that there was no package of screws to assemble the unit, no DVD and no book of instructions. I will be on the phone tomorrow (today is Sunday) hoping to get what I need to assemble this treadmill. If I have to repackage this and return it to Walmart, it will be a back-breaking experience. I am not happy.
