This bike was very easy to assemble. I really enjoy riding it and the time passes very quickly when I'm on it. And I feel so good afterwards. I usually listen to music while I ride and just forget about the time. If you're looking for a good bike at a good price, this is the one for you.
This works for me. I assembled it myself with no problems considering I just had major knee surgery which is why I purchased it. I can either pay the physical Therapist $50 a day or do the range of motion exercising at home for practically pennies. I am obese with a bum knee and guess what, I've lost 23 lbs. It's convenient, value priced and it works for the money. At my last doctor's visit, I was praised for the speedy recovery and the weight loss obtained and all I told my surgeon was that I purchased a less than $100 bike from Walmart and the rest is history. I only do a few minutes a day but considering I had not exercised in years, this is a great accomplishment. I am confident with time, the minutes I spend on this bike will gradually increase.
Has helped my husband with some of his back pain. The information panel is wonderful. It shows distance, speed, time and calories burned so you can challenge yourself in different areas. We're in our 60's and recommend it for any age as a great, simple workout and it doesn't take up alot of room. The moveable handles help tone your arms as well. Highly recommend this item!
I had trepidation in ordering on-line based on some of the reviews I read, however I took the leap, and am pleased with the Bike. It arrived in good condition (after being shipped across the country, lol, apparently they have read the reviews here, as the one I received was very heavily over packaged - it took longer to unbox, untape, unwrap, and recycle all the paper plastic and cardboard, than it did to assemble). The tools provided for the most part are mostly useless (but keep them for tightening, etc, as with all moving parts, they will eventually need to be retightened), you will need an adjustable wrench (and a pair of vice grips are helpful too), however all parts are clearly marked, and well laid out on a cardboard sheet (not just a baggie of parts). I had no issues with hole placements matching up, etc. The bike itself is sturdy to sit on and use (Im not sure about the other reviews complaining of the seat height, I am 5'11', and have to use the lowest seat height setting), yes the seat although somewhat padded is firm, but is a standard bike seat. The workout it provides is far more than I expected, using arms as well as legs definitely raises the heart-rate, adding a good cardio aspect to my workout. I started out slow, as I think most will, having to build up to prolonged use, but definitely feel the benefits of using this bike. Very Satisfied I chose this bike.
Lightweight, easy to adjust, good whole-body workout. Great price. Displays are easy to read; not very loud, compact design. I haven't owned it long, but I'm loving the heck out of it. That said, I'm now keenly aware of how bad my posture must be, because I can feel an ache in my lower back that I don't believe to be related to the workout itself. The only real downside I can point out to this bike is that some of the parts are a pain in the neck to assemble, because the tools (either the ones provided or the real ones we had at home) just don't reach the way the manufacturers think they do. And the last step in the assembly, the pedals, those were a special kind of test of patience. It gets the job done, though.
This bike is worth the money. It rides great. It is fairly quiet and moves smoothly. The monitor works great and seems to record my workouts accurately. The entire bike took me about 1 hour to assemble..it was pretty simple however I ran into a few "hard to get screw in hole" situation but it all worked out. I would say it is a great bike for the money.
Comparing to the price, it is a great deal. Everything about it is good except the seat. It won't be comfortable for people with 90 kg or more.
When I opened the box to assemble it, I did not notice that the chain guard was broken. I had already spent about an hour putting it together so.... I was not going to return it and have to assemble another one. other than poor quality assurance the item works as advertised.
This came with a huge hole in the fly wheel. We traded it out at WalMart because the company stated that this part was made overseas so they could not replace it. So we put the second bike together, and the computer worked for about 10 minutes and then stopped. We have been on the phone with Weslo for over an hour and cannot get through. This bike has been a nightmare! We still do not have a fully working bike. NOT WORTH THE MONEY for all the headaches we've gone through.
I received the bicycle quickly, right at my door, which I liked. I had paid someone to put it together for me, but I did not know it would take hours, and he would be unable to do it at all. The left pedal would not attach, and no matter what he did he could not get it to go on. So, we either had to take the bike apart to take it back or get a repairman to get the pedal to go on (which cost more than the bike!). My brother, who put the bike together, said he had a migraine, and that the bike was junk, and he said the bike could not be taken apart. I was stuck with this broken bike! What a nightmare! Finally, I found someone else who could take enough of it apart that I could take it back.
