I like to go running but this winter is so cold the I could not do it very often. That's why I finally decided to buy something for my home - and this is pretty good exercise machine for the money. Not to big and it does the job. So far I am happy with it.
It is GREAT!! Quiet, and very sturdy and very well made..I've only had it a few days but very satisfied at this time.
Apparently it was easy for my son to put together for me! It is very quiet so no problem watching TV while riding!
Love this bike!! Got it for rehab after having a knee replacement, Very easy to use, love that you can adjust the tension, has helped me greatly With my rehab. Plus it feels so good to use I will keep using it to stay in shape. My Husband is now using it to just for exercise. Thank you Great product.
The bike went together with no problems. Took about 45 minutes. The ride is smooth & quiet. The quality of manufacture could be improved upon as I had to unscrew the covers & re-align them but not too much of a problem. The console seems to work well but I wish the two workout programs were better detailed. The console requires four AA batteries & there is no provision for a power supply so I don't know how long batteries will last. Finally the seat is rock hard, and I could not find a gel seat that would fit or I could modify to fit so I have a gel cover coming that hopefully will fit. One thing more--- the lowest setting for the seat post was too high for my wife to use, I had to drill another hole in the post to lover the seat. Good I'm handy.
We've had the bike for a couple weeks now and so far it's working great. Its smooth, quiet, tension control is good and the electronic module has everything we seem to need, works as advertised. I would suggest using to people to assemble to help avoid cross threading the bolts.
My mom is getting older and needs to get more exercise. Many exercise bikes have a high middle bar you have to step over but this one has a "step through" design so she can more easily get on. One thing...my mom is petite (she's 4'11") and the bike's predrilled holes for the seat didn't go down low enough for her...we ended up drilling four more holes in the seat stem and now she sits comfortably! :)
Well I have officially sent this bike out to pasture. I had it just over two years. I used it quite a bit as it was my main piece of cardio equipment. The clock works like a charm, easy to read, and it is somewhat forgiving as it doesn't clear the data for a little bit if you stop pedaling you may have a minute or so before the data clears. The assembly wasn't fun and I don't look forward to that again. It is somewhat heavy as I put it together in the basement and then decided to have it in an exercise room upstairs. I would put in 20 miles in a work out and beat it hard, I am at the max for the weight limit, as my weight while I had this machine was at 262lbs and within 6 months I was back down to 225ish.... I would say it is great, many levels or restraint. Basically I thought the belt had broke and it and I struggled so hard to get the plastic casings off and ended up breaking them off. Upon inspection the belt was worn and cracking but hadn't broke, instead plastic parts on the inside broke and the belt wouldn't stay on. So take what you will the bike lasted over two years for me, if you think that's a great deal for low price. I used the machine solid for a year 3 times a week, then probably 5-6 times a month the second year I used it a lot less. One other negative is the holder for a beverage is cheap plastic that is placed in an awkwardly close as I cut myself and broke it when I stepped down the plastic hit me in my inner thigh and shattered so cheap that if I bought again I probably wouldn't attach the piece.
I ordered this exercise bike from Walmart.com site to store after I saw good reviews from Sam's Club buyers and the price at Walmart.com is the lowest among competitors. To my dismay, when I came to Walmart to receive the bike, the box was partially broken due to rough shipping and handling. After the Walmart clerk assured me that I could return it to Walmart if I found anything missing, I took it home. While there are no missing parts, a small piece of the plastic right shield cover was broken at the bottom. I guess that Weslo bike panel shields are not build strong enough to go through rough shipping and handling at Walmart stores. It is quite easy to assemble and the bike is quiet. I wish that Weslo could add more resistance levels because at the top level 10, the bike resistance is relatively light for strong bikers.
