ordered site to store and when it got there they put it together, so i dont know how hard it was to assemble. very well made, heavy, lots of room love it
I bought 2 of these nightstands for living room end tables. They work out nicely because I needed the height with my new sectional. I like the storage drawers, very large to hold lots of stuff. The assembly was time consuming and a little hard to understand the instructions, but was do-able in about 2 hours per table. I ordered 2 and the back peice was different on each, one had a tack on peice (kind of cheap looking) but the other one had a peice that actually fit in making a nice finished look. I like that one better, but I put the other one against a wall, so it really didn't matter. They are very sturdy, and for the price compared to other end tables I shopped for ($150.00 - $200.00 for 1 table)- a great value. I would recommend them.
Love this item!! We ordered 2 night stands with Walmart's ship to store. Put first one together with hubby in 2 hours. Easy to understand directions and everything there. Hubby found power drill for screws much easier and faster to put together for the second one and took half the time. A beautiful strong piece of furniture. Liked it so much wanted to get another for our daughter. 5 star all the way!!
Was definitely surprised to see how solid this item was made. The shelves are a thick heavy wood that definitely feels like it should cost twice the price. The wood tone is wonderful and will definitely compliment any room. I bought a pair of these nightstands and unfortunately had to build the first one with a screwdriver only since my drill needed to be recharged. I was able to build the second one with my drill and it took less time, MUCH less effort and was more sturdy. DEFINITELY use a drill if you can ;) Also use a good amount of the glue they provide to put in ALL the holes; it only helps out more with a sturdy final product.
This is a little hard to put together just because some of the pieces are heavy. But that is just normal. I use this as an end table, I just love it I've only had it about a week or 2, but it is so nice and I love the shelf.. It just finishes it off. It is constructed really good. Might want to have 2 people put it together but I managed to put it together by myself. No complaints...
Night stand is just what I was looking for. Directions were a little hard to follow putting together but all in all it wasn't bad. Stand stands almost flush with the top of my bed which is great for seeing the alarm clock. Great product!
I bought this night stand and was excited to see how it looked in my room. I found the overall look very nice but the directions were unclear and I had some trouble getting the night stand together at first. other than that I would recommend this product.
Ok, well to start off, it's a really pretty nightstand once you can get it together, but be prepared. It took me two hours or more to get it done, and I had to take it apart twice because I got something backwards. The parts are not lettered or numbered, and the directions leave alot to be desired, but once you get it done, it's very pretty. I bought it to go with a set I got from Furniture Row and I didn't want to pay $150 for a night table, when I paid $55 for it at walmart. It matches beautifully and it's nice real wood....or at least it's heavy like the real stuff.
This is not your typical discount store furniture. The piece is heavier and sturdier than I expected. The only negative was there were some fairly minor color imperfections (areas that weren't completely stained). A quick touch up with a furniture marker made it better, although not perfect.
I put this one together before the 5-drawer dresser, which worked out well. Nice to have a drill on hand. Assembly would have taken much longer with out it. Price was a little more then I would like to see for an assembly piece, but wanted a matching dresser.
