Such a pleasure to use these scissors. The soft rubber grips are extremely comfortable. The bonded Ti blades stay sharp, cut with ease for either left or right hand. The Ti bonded blades are three times harder than untreated SS blades resulting in longer lasting blades, shaper blades and longer lasting cutting edge. Although designed for economy, light use, this scissors is sharp and holds up well to many cutting jobs. No slack in the blades and the handle fits comfortably in the hand. Precise, sharp cutting. I have used the Westcott brand for many years. It has not let me down. These scissors, though lightweight work quite well. I have tried them on various materials and they cut without fail. These are great office or classroom scissors. I usually prefer heavy duty scissors and these are not a heavy duty pair, but they are a good quality. They are very light weight and very sharp, which would be beneficial if doing a lot of cutting. I know when I have A LOT of cutting to do for a school project, my heavy duty scissors tend to tire out my hand. I will definitely be trying these out for the big cutting job.
