[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Westcott Multi-Purpose Trimmer, is an asset to my crafting. Its light enough to move around, cuts and measures your projects very nicely. I highly recommend this product for your crafting or coupon needs.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This paper cutter is well made with quality materials. The very sharp blade meets the business edge of the cutter with precision and without “give”. As with any such paper cutter, one must be mindful that larger stacks of paper must be held firmly in place during the cut in order to ensure a uniform cut through all sheets -exactly where you want it. I expect this product to last MANY years of moderate use.
Works great. The guard is removable, and the arm can be locked down. Works just as well as any other paper cutter I've ever used and the blade has stayed sharp.
I bought this paper cutter about 6 months my son had worked in an office that closed and he gave me 3 cases of legal size paper. I bought the cutter to cut the paper into letter size for my printer. The directions say it cuts up to 10 pages so I divided a whole team into sections of 10 and attempted to cut them down..,some batches cut perfectly however like every third batch the top paper moves and it it folds at the same spot every time. I even got a ruler and put pressure to assure the paper didn’t move. It doesn’t make a difference...the blade is perfectly sharp and I am aligning every batch the same....anyone else ever have this issue? Other than that I like the product.”
I have tried multiple ways to cut paper with this machine. It seems that the only time it worked well was with 6 pieces of paper. It consistently jammed and chewed the paper edge. Definitely not for delicate work.
Don’t buy…..Really disappointed….was really looking forward in using it but the alignment guides are way off so you can’t even line up your cuts right and the plastic base is warped.
I bought this cutter for an art project and it originally had great reviews. The box looked like it had been opened and taped. It didn't cut the decoupage paper only the card stock. It tore my paper and ended up cutting everything with scissors.
Not sharp enough to even cut through (2) pieces of construction paper....waste of money. Increment markings are very difficult to see.
Waste of time. I was not even able to cut one 8x10 photo right out of the box. After the 4th edge it stopped cutting properly. I moved the edge of the photo out a bit to give the cutter a fresh edge and all it did was bend the photo and scrape the surface of the print. Questioning product quality sold at Wal-Mart more and more.
Terrible product. Made one cut and attempted to feather the paper and the paper wasn't cut.
