I have very oily olive skin and keeping my makeup shine free and in place is always a challenge. This stuff helped prolong the matte look and kept the shine away; with and without makeup.

In the first few hours of wearing the setting spray, I noticed that my makeup stayed put for longer and I didn't need to touch it up too much. I love how it doesn't make me too shiny, especially since my face gets a little shiny after makeup application. My makeup after 12 hours held up pretty well, considering how inactive I was. I still love this product!

For such an affordable product I think it does the job though.

I don't typically use setting spray, but i didn't feel this was very unique. The mist is not very fine, which is almost the most important to me with any facial mists. It sprays heavily in some spots and very light in others. This product did give me a slight, temporary matte finish, but I didn't notice my makeup behaving or lasting any longer than usual, without setting spray.
