Came across this vacuum while looking to replace a Brookstone brand that had lasted for over 20 years. I found this one which is similar but has a stronger suction as it uses a 14v battery rather than a 12v battery.
This works great and holds a charge for a very long time. The motor is a little loud, but not bothersome while operating it. I haven't tried it on water yet so I can't address that aspect of its performance. Wal-Mart had the best price on the web I could find and I always do a lot of price comparisons prior to purchase. I highly recommend it for home, car, and shop.
Seems well made and has great power for a handheld cordless unit. Did my entire Mini Cooper and was still going strong. Time will tell on reliability.
Great suction however, it is so loud the neighbors can hear it ! It also vibrates from the high rpm and it tickles your hand. Aside from those two negatives it's better than others we've used in the past.
Charged for 24 hours. Never fully charged. Started to loose power w/in one minute.
Have had Dirt Devils for years and loved them but this has the best pick up ever. Also, the off/on switch is much easier. Haven't used it to pick up liquids but I have no doubt it will be wonderful.
It was obviously USED. Scratched cone, crushed box, inside dividers crushed and thrown in box, no plastic bag, etc. No matter how long it was charged, the red LOW charge light came on. Defective AND obviously USED.... Would not order anything else from Red Vaccuums LLC, The Vac Expert, Vacuums and more and other names.
