We bought this for a warm outdoor birthday party. It was awesome! Adults and children enjoyed it for hours! We also used a foam type kick board to slide with in addition to the blow up one that comes with it. Well worth the money!
I got this for a small party for my son's bday. The sprinkler on the side wasn't all that great but my son found if you step on it and increase pressure in certain areasyou can squirt it at people :). Once the slide was wet though the kids had a blast, and it was only 10 bucks so if they don't use it again, it served its purpose for that day and no rips, holes or tears so can't complain bc it can be used again.
First i want to say that I was so excited to find this that I really didn't look at all the details, so with that said, it's not as long as I remember the one that I bought in the 90's for my kids (this is for the grand-kids) and had I really looked at the picture I would have seen that the water is not coming out of the holes too well at the top, which is exactly what it doesn't do in reality. My 2 and a half hear old grandsons still had lots of fun on it and hopefully will continue to enjoy it next year.
This slide was nice. My son really enjoyed it. The sad thing was that I had to cut his fun short because this thing wastes water. Its like turning your hose on full blast and flooding your yard!
I bought this for my little brother for his birthday, so on his birthday he took it out of the box went down it once and the darn thing popped
Might as well be one time use. Don't expect this to last. We used it one time, it was okay. You better have REALLY good water pressure or it won't work at all. The kids won't slide down the ramp part without soap on it and it ripped after the first use. My kids loved playing on it but like I said it ripped after the first use and we had to use a whole bottle of dishwashing liquid to even use it.
Got this slip and slide and had a hole in the slip n slide
I purchased the double slide for my little ones. When I set it up I thought there was not enough water pressure because the side sprinkler was very low and the spray at the end was nonexistent. I found that if I put something heavy on the far end of the side sprinkler it made the water go higher and the kids were able to use it. Then one of the "Boogie Boards" got a hole in it. FROM THE GRASS! #If you don't have beautiful lush soft green grass, watch out# Ok so it needed a patch, no big deal. A few minutes later, the spray stopped working all together. I found that the seam in the sprinkler tube blew out. No way to fix it with the supplied patch - the patch wasn't big enough anyway. I returned the product and before I could tell them anything they asked me if it was the seam?!? So this is a well known problem. They would not refund the "used" product but they did replace it and the second worked "OK", but even though we have excellent water pressure #my husband tested it#, I still could not get more than a dribble out of the end sprayer. After ten minutes of play, one of the boogie boards again lost air. This time it was a seam, so again there was no way to fix it with the supplied patch. All in all, the concept is a great one. My kids thought it was awesome when it worked. They had more fun than they ever had in the kid pool. Sadly, the quality of the product is soooo poor that the only thing you will give your kids is a huge dose of disappointment when this thing breaks. They will have just enough time to see how really awesome it is, then not be able to use it. Maybe if it was $5 instead of $10-$15 it might be worth it, but otherwise, don't give yourself the headache. The plastic is so thin it can't stand up to a little dry grass and the seams are so poorly sealed that they blow out when the product is being used as directed. What a waste of an excellent idea!
Item is not good quality. you can barely fit one child on the slide. Water barely came out. Returning it ASAP!!!
Purchased this slip in slide for my little boy and first thing is the connector leaked from get go. Also it appears it has a small pool at the end and yes it does MAYBE a foot long which really disappointed. It is also very narrow and doesn't slide well. The boogie board that came with it seemed to make it harder to slide. I took item back.
