This game is perfect with you have a bunch of friends over the house drinking and hanging out. It is definitely meant for adults. I wouldn't recommend playing with kids. There are a lot of different reviews and locations to keep it entertaining all night. Will definitely buy more games from What Do You MEME!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the unique spin of this game. It's reminds me of cards against humanity but with a unique “Karen” take based on everyday location reviews you see online. I would not be surprised if the review cards are based on real life compiles reviews
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The What So You Meme? Company is back at it again with the Over-Rated card Game. It is absolutely hilarious. It's very similar to Cards Against Humanity; one person lays down a location card, and the rest of the players have to choose one of their own cards in order to leave a review for the location. The person who laid down the location card chooses their favorite review, and that person gets a point. It's a great party game! I hope they make expansion packs!
First of all, this game is awesome. It is so clever, and fun. Pros are, it is quick to understand, quick to set up, quick to clean up, super easy to understand without a lot of explanation, and it is really fun and great to play! Only cons were it is a little inappropriate, and it gets a little old after a while! I would definitely play again and would recommend to anyone.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought overRated card game to play at my adult Halloween party. My friends couldn't get enough of the hilarious choices on the cards! I would definitely recommend this if you are looking for a fun adult party game with adult rated answers!
We played this during family game night and had a ton of fun. It is definitely not for children, but the adults in our family had fun making hilarious card combos and trying to outdo each other. I think it would be even more fun with more players! I was surprisingly pleased with how easy this game was to learn and how enjoyable to play. Would recommend to any adults looking for a new game to play!
It's been hard to get enough people together to play this with everything going on but we were finally able to have a small group of family over to try it out. It was a ton of fun and we played several games. We will probably be picking up the other What Do You Meme games when we get the chance.
This game is multi player and good for a fun group time. Maybe a party game. It's similar to cards against humanity except for you leave ratings on different things with the hand of cards you have. Not as funny as cards against humanity but fun none the less.
Look for some fun for adult game night? Look no more with Over-Rated Adult Party Game by What Do You Meme? This game was selected in exchange for my honest opinion. The box is really cute, nice size can fit in one's purse or travel bag. This is the perfect game to take to a friend's adult game night, couples game night, a weekend trip to the cabins, or anything as such. It can be used for the family game night but it is NOT recommended to be used with children. The language is not recommended for children. Setup and clean-up are really easy and quick. Add a little drink for those 21 of age and older, which can make it a little more fun. If you chose to use this at a family function, I highly recommend you inform some of the languages because someone could get offended. Overall, we enjoyed this game and will definitely use it again.
I do like that the box is pretty small. This is definitely the kind of game you bring with you to your friends house, not the kind of game you have at home to play with your family. That being said, it could be smaller, there were two pics of cardboard in the box that could have been removed to make it more efficient. It would have been nice however, if there was one sturdy piece of cardboard that separated the two decks. Some of the reviews were really witty and funny and clever. I did sometimes laugh out loud. However, a lot of the reviews felt like real reviews stolen off of actual products. The issue with this is that they were so specific they were stuck in my hand for a long time. The other issue with this is that they seemed to be selected based on vulgarity or shock level, rather then wit. That is not my type of humor and sometimes I was a little grossed out. To be fair though, the game was clearly labeled for over 18. I am 34 and I think I may be too old for it. Although, I also think when I was 18 I would have been too old for it. It is a blatant rip off of apples to apples/cards against humanity. So, if you wanted a game like that, this may be for you.
