[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this new microwave for our son and daughter in-law to replace an old unit in their newly acquired home. It has been a great addition to their home, especially with a baby on the way. Very happy with the quality of Whirlpool products, which work well, and are reasonably priced.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced another Whirlpool microwave that lasted for 15 years! So of course we had to have another one. It is very nice and still has a light for the stove under it. Nice and big like our other one.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This microwave came with my new house and is simple and easy to use but provides all the features i need. Thank you!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new Whirlpool microwave. I finally have a turntable!!! I am so excited; never had one before. THANKS
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought and installed this microwave oven myself about a month ago after having three GE ovens fail miserably. So far it functions perfectly and we've been very happy with it. The oven is large and powerful. The controls are intuitive and appearance is very nice. The only things I would change are minor. The installation instructions failed to mention that you should peel off the clear coating over the control panel. When it started to bubble up I contacted Whirlpool and learned that covering was temporary for shipping. Second, when the cooking cycle ends, it beeps 4 times with each beep containg 4 notes. That's 16 beeps. Two or three would be sufficient. We'll see if this oven lasts, my last Whirlpool microwave oven lasted 20 years. The three GR ovens lasted less that 18 months each on average; and repair costs exceed the value of the oven.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced a 20 year old microwave with this model during our kitchen remodeling. I now have the microwave above the stove and we have the fan connected to an outside directed vent. It's beautiful and works nice. There are a lot of features that were not available on my old unit. I especially love the extra effort to have the fan vented outside. It has 3 speeds and clears out odors, steam and smoke super fast. There are also smaller models that look essentially the same size. Get this one if you can. I selected all Whirlpool appliances for my new kitchen and am very happy with all of them.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been very happy with my new microwave. The only complaint is with the sensor cooking - i always have to add minutes.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought last month. Happy except for light. It's positioned towards the back. Lights up more of the wall and back burners. Doesn't light the front ones for cooking.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently bought a stainless steel Whirlpool microwave. One big issue is how dark the white lettering and numbers are against the black control panel. Instead of being bright white, they are a dull, faded white, and some of it is actually gray writing against a black background. This was an issue while shopping and originally I was going to buy a GE microwave. My opinion was swayed by the sales person. Plus the lettering on the Whirlpool control panel appeared to be very white in the store. But alas, it is not as once installed you can not see the writing under TIMER, which displays Set/Off in gray, or under CLOCK which states Options in gray. Or the option that says Hold 30 seconds without using a flash light. VERY discouraging. Also there is no express option like hit 1 for 1 minute like what was on my prior GE microwave. Instead you always have to hit 100 for 1 minute. I gave it 3 stars because it does work but white writing on control panel needs to be brighter, a flashlight should not be needed to see the gray writing, and there needs to be an express cook for minutes. Wish I had gone with my first thought of buying a GE microwave instead.
Bought this. It died in just under 2 years and was deemed "Not repairable". We thought it was a fluke and bought another and it died in THIRTEEN MONTHS. Whirlpool sent out a repair man and after 5 visits and ever part replaced it was working again. 4 months later it is not heating and not venting. It's only had light use. We recommend avoiding this microwave at all costs.
