[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased for my new kitchen remodel - I like the single fridge door, and single door for the freezer for my small kitchen. Glad the freezer has an ice maker, but a water dispenser is an unnecessary feature for me. Tap water from the faucet is fine. .
I've had this refrigerator for a couple weeks and so far it has met or exceeded my expectations. The freezer self-closes when the drawer is within a couple inches of being closed which is a nice feature since there's no alarm. After raising the front of the refrigerator high enough with the leveling legs, the refrigerator door closes on its own from a standstill at 90 degrees open (so no need for an alarm). The kitchen bar stools are just a couple feet from the refrigerator, and it's quiet enough that it's hardly noticeable when sitting at the kitchen bar. I've not installed the water line to the ice maker yet so can't comment on it's performance. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I bought this refrigerator.. I love it.. the door storage is AMAZING! And the split adjustable shelves in a 33" wide refrigerator is what I need! Had a French door with a bottom freezer prior to this.. the shelves were all one.. not split and limited on where you could adjust them too. I had a single door refrigerator like this before the French door one and I loved that too but I died after 17 yrs. So I was elated when I saw Whirlpool made a single door model still [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have now had our refrigerator two weeks and everything seems good. The things I notice now. It makes a lot of ice, the ice tray is big. I wish i could move the freezer dividers. I cant lay a frozen pizza flat
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've only had this refrigerator for 3 weeks now, so I can't attest to its long-term reliability, but so far, we are happy with it and its design. My only complaint is that the two larger drawers don't slide easily when closing them especially if they are fully loaded. You pretty much need to guide them into the closed position with both hands which is a nuisance, but not the worst thing possible.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the new fridge. It makes ice like crazy too which was a problem with the last fridge. The only thing I would change would be to make the shelf brackets go down a little further. I can't arrange the shelves the way I want because of this.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love EVERYTHING about my new refrigerator except the stainless steel finish on the doors. It fingerprints so easily and very difficult to clean. Frustrating. You can't just wipe off a fingerprint. You have to clean the WHOLE door or it looks streaky. I wanted white appliances but this style white refrigerator wasn't on sale.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this about 2 months and it's a basic working refrigerator with 2 disappointing things: 1) the doors don't always shut tight and there isn't an alarm to let you know - our door was left open all night! 2) the two produce drawers pull all the way out to easy - there is a small grove to help stop it, but it you pull just a little to fast - the whole drawer slides off and you have to stop and put it back in the slot - this happens a lot!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am disappointed for several reasons. I wanted a frig with a bottom freezer and only had 30 inches wide space. This whirlpool was my only option. I don't like the half shelves with the opening at the back so things can tip or fall through. I wanted a wide pantry drawer which this has none. I wanted door shelves that would hold large containers. These hold very little compared to my last frig. In the freezer there is a basket unlike the solid basket in my old frig. If something melted such as ice cream, it would be an awful mess to clean. The stainless steel finish has a gritty feel to the surface. The door needed to be reversed so now I have ugly plastic covers on the other holes. It looks cheap and has nothing to make it look nice. It looks generic inside and out. I guess refrigerators are just cold boxes now. Magnets won't attach because of plastics on the front. Got to think of a way to disguise it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ice maker quit working after 3 months. I paid for an ice maker, but I'm now making it by hand.
