Despite other negative reviews stating otherwise, it does NOT take a long time to heat up, and to does NOT lose a lot of heat when the door is opened to tend to the food inside. The ONLY item of concern is that it does turn off at the end of a timed cycle. But that is easily overcome by simply using the timer on the microwave, and then manually turning off the oven if your food is fully baked. Excellent product, but expensive due to its 24” size. I installed this wall oven less than a week ago. It replaced a 1970s vintage Frigidaire double wall oven. I followed the installation instructions and had no issues during the installation. The oven works well and we no complaints so far. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Love it so much that I look for reasons to cook! Can’t wait for thanksgiving!!!!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this a month ago, surprised the cool down process is noisy and lengthy. Preheating is also more lengthy than previous appliance.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very happy with this new oven. Replaced a 0 plus year old Kenmore with this one.
I like this oven but my only complaint is that the fan keeps going for an excessive amount of time after the oven is turned off. So much so that the first time I used it I thought it wasn’t shutting off at all. The fan ran for 20 minutes after I shut it off and it sounds like the oven does when it is on. I found if the door is left ajar after turning the oven off, the fan stops sooner. I looked in the instructions and there is no mention of the fan continuing to run and that this is normal. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was installed about December 15th so far we're happy.
I needed to replace an old oven that could fit in a small space This Wirlpool was just the right size. Everything from a delicate cake to roast chicken has come out perfect. I have not had the oven long enough to use the clean cycle, but small things have been easy to wipe up with a damp cloth. The controls are simple and easy to use. My only complaint (and it is a small one) is that when I open the oven before the preheat is done it seems to stick at that temperature. I have to cancel the cycle and reenter the temp to what it was originally set for. This might be user error or impatience on my part. I have to say so far I love this little efficient oven. It is the perfect companion to my 60 year old chambers stove.
THIS WAS INSTALLED AND SELECTED BY A CONTRACTOR. IT DOES NOT PRE-HEAT IN AN EXCEPTABLE MANOR...TAKES WAY TO LONG, NEVER EVEN REACHES 500 DEGREES. IT DOES NOT HOLD IT'S HEAT EITHER. WHEN YOU OPEN THE OVEN TO BASTE OR WHATEVER, IT DROPS 40 DEGREES AND DOES NOT COME BACK UP TO ORIGINAL DEGREES FOR 10- 15 MINUTES...NOT HAPPY AT ALL. I HAVE BEEN COOKING FOR 60 YEARS AND THIS PRODUCT IS SO DISAPPOINTING.
I do not like the way it blows out hot air, even after it is turned off. It takes forever to heat up, then when I hit the timer it goes back to preheat. I hate this oven. It is pretty, everything else is impossible to set. I have read and reread the book. I liked my old oven, easy to set, use timer. Absolutely despite the way it cooks. Cooked a ham at 350 for 30 minutes and wasn't even cooked even though it was a precooked ham. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
