[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this 3 months ago. The EZ-lift grates are nice and make cleaning the cooktop pretty easy. The design and stainless look good as well. The only problem is that the flame isn't as adjustable as I would expect. The flame doesn't change height from the "Low" setting to the about "4" setting, which is nearly half the whole range of the knob.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While the burners work, I am very frustrated with the larger ones placed in the rear and smaller ones up front. I mainly use the larger ones and this configuration is not nearly as comfortable or practical for me. The iron grates lift to clean but easily shift off their hinge in the back making it difficult to hold them up and clean at the same time. Also the grates are misaligned. This was the builder supplied counter gas stovetop and one I would never have chosen. We will likely replace it
This was installed by the builder and we have used it 3 months. Went to lift the grate up to clean underneath and the left side grate busted off near the front burner towards the middle. I was reading another review and their grate broke off in the same place as ours. I also have a friend who purchased from the same builder - same cooktop - and was broken before they took ownership - it was found in the inspection. Her's broke in the exact same place as mine! Whirlpool needs to take another look at the structure of their grates if we are all breaking in the same place.....
