[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so happy with my choice of the whirlpool front load washer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a Maytag (which I know Whirlpool Corp owns the brand today but they didn't at the time) eco-conserve and it was the loudest, rough on clothes etc. It worked perfectly fine but I said enough is enough. Don't hesitate to purchase this 5 cu ft front load machine with quick wash. It is VERY quiet and doesn't knot the clothes together since it is always mixing. I purchased the base as well. I didn't need for the storage but it is perfect height for loading, unloading. I thought about the 5 cu ft with the auto soap dispenser but thought another component that could fail. Putting in soap is not a big deal. The display is electronic. Don't delay BUY today! Make your clothes HAPPY!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A little bigger than the average clothes washer but not so much that it doesn't fit where the old washer fit. Takes a bit of time to get the setting sorted out for what application. The default spin speed for delicates is too slow, things come out dripping wet but the spin speed can be changed.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our previous washer was bought in 2001. At the time there were five of us that our washer worked daily to keep all of our clothes clean. Through the years with our grown children moving in and out plus having grandchildren tagging along our old washer sometimes up to 8 humans clothes to keep clean. Well she finally decided to go home to her maker and after 22 years we put her to rest. Due to todays economy we now have a couple of our grown children and three of our grandchildren living with us again. It didn't take much thought on my part; after getting 22 years out of our now deceased front loader it was back to NFM. Momma wanted a larger capacity so we got the 5.0. Just the other day I heard her telling our daughter how happy she was with her new washer and that larger loads does make a huge difference. We will need to replace the dry sometime soon but for now he is doing a good job.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just purchased, wife and I are learning how to get the most out of this front loader, we've always had a top loader. Getting used to the various controls, It washes and does the a good job. Not the top of line Whirlpool luxury version but great value.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this washer about a month ago & have been very pleased with it so far. It's spacious & has lots of customizable washing load types. The only thing I have noticed is that u can't open the door very far or it hits the detergent tray if it's pulled out also.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this along with the dryer, was delivered 2/15/23. Washer was saying Fl LO as not enough water coming in. Corrected it. Ran the first load and did great. We haven't used it enough to give it five stars but so far so good.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It does not run as smooth as the Whirlpool Duets. The delicate cycle is not delicate at all it tore up a throw. Yes, I read the instructions on the label, “machine wash on delicate cycle”. Not happy with the machine.
I bought this a 2 months ago and so far it's been ok. Easy to use and washes pretty well, but huge issue with a quick cycle. Every time I put a medium sized load for a quick wash, it displays 24 min but once it's gets to 11 min left it ends the cycle completely. I want it to clean it for the displayed 24 minutes, not for only 11-13 minutes because the cloths aren't clean and there's no option for a timed wash and a normal wash lasts too long at 45 minutes. Wish that could be fixed.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just like everything appliances aren't as good as they used to be. I had whirlpool for 14 years prior to this one but this one is not as good. I keep the detergent drawer open to air out but if you close the door it bumps into the drawer and scrapes the door, dumb design. Plus the detergent drawer is cheap plastic and finicky to push in. The door does not close easy and I feel like I need to slam it closed. The buttons are finicky and don't always work and the fact that I need to hold the button for 3 seconds to start it is dumb. If I push the start button I want it to start, I don't need a count down, I can always cancel it. I wish it had a hand wash setting and it will not spin out a (bath) rug, it just stops. I had to add towels to get it to work. dumb. I miss my old machine.
