[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Waited a long time to purchase a new stove. This was the perfect one and so glad I waited.
I purchased this range on 9/22/20 and so far it has not disappointed. The features are outstanding. I have recently moved to the mountains and I was having a tough time cooking due to the elevation and the age of the range that was in the house when I purchased it. This new range has lots of features my old range didn't. I love the assisted cooking feature which is amazing (no more under done or half burnt food). The cooking method feature allows you to bake or set it to convection mode (this is a really nice feature). It also has wifi which is a great especially when you are multitasking. I love the electronic readout which is also very user friendly. In all I am very happy with my purchase. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this with the Whirlpool matching Stainless appliances - this one is Champagne color. I love when the kitchen has a different color stove- but I am not bold enough to go red, or blue! This has been a joy! We actually added gas to our house for my husband to have a gas range. All of the appliances we bought have been great! Very happy!
Part of my new kitchen. Still learning the smart part. Baking and cooking is perfect. Keeping it warm works really well since my family is always late. Very easy to clean with the easy lift grille. I love my new Gas Range. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I purchased this range almost 2 years ago. It's been great. I purchased 4 appliances from the sunset bronze series: fridge, range, dishwasher, and over the range microwave. This gas range has been great. I love the cook to scan technology. The touch screen options are fantastic. It cooks evenly. The stovetop is perfect. I absolutely love the griddle. The only issue I have is I have to keep the touch screen locked all the time because I have one mischievous cat who walks across it and turns things on, especially the light. I don't think it should be that easy for a cat to do. One nice feature is it lets you know when power has been lost. It will show something on the screen that there was a power outage, what time it lost power, and how long the power was out. The only downside to this is you have to reset the clock and date and set the WiFi up again. It should be automatic like phones. That's annoying to have to set everything back up again, especially when I've got two different appliances I have to do it for.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We switched to gas from electric and I have to say that I love the way it cooks. The problem I have with this model is the computerized control panel. Since we received it about 6 months ago, the panel has frozen twice. Once was a simple breaker reboot, but the second requires a tech visit . I had downloaded the app in case there was a problem with the panel, but , unfortunately, when the panel freezes it also knocks the stove offline. I'm addition, it doesn't seem to “hold” the date and time settings and have had to change that several times. I hold my breath every time we have a dinner party. Not a big fan of the technology, but l donlike the stove— when it's workimg.
We bought this range about 9 months ago. We love the even cooking from the gas cook top and stove and some of the convenience features. The touchscreen display can be finicky with touch, and if you're trying to clean up the stove while something is in the oven, do not wipe down the display or the system will reset and you'll lose the oven temperature and cook time. Given the cost of the product, I'm disappointed to see the coating on the stove knobs is beginning to peel off and chip.
Installed this 2 months ago. Overall difficult to clean. It is difficult to keep the touch screen area clean. Difficult to clean even with the control panel lock on. We do not fry food. Can't imagine cleaning up grease with this stove. The oven has been used normal amount of times for 2 months. It was barely dirty...normal splashes from cooking on the inside. I decided to use the self-clean feature to make sure it worked properly. What a joke! I ran the process twice and it is worthless. Nothing was removed or made it easy to clean. Thank goodness for Mr. Clean magic eraser and over an hour of scrubbing. Again, it wasn't that dirty to begin with. Get rid of this system and go back to the high temperature self cleaning.
My wife and I bought this about a month ago during a kitchen remodel. It was working great although the burner's were running a little hot even though we had it on low. Fas forward to last night and the unit starts an update. 14 hours later it is still showing the hourglass sign signifying it is still updating. It's locked up completely and we've tried leaving it unplugged for 10 minutes to no avail. It's Labor Day weekend and we are supposed to be baking some dishes for a cookout. I have no idea what we are going to do now. What kind of %$&*(# company pushes a "major" update out over a holiday weekend?!
Do you notice big corporations lost a connection with their customers? Yes. I could be a good product but it was never tested/used in regular house. Touch panel easy to touch by children?! Sharp edges?! Almost impossible for older people to see if they are turned on/off gas knobs?! Difficult to connect to WiFI ?! Glass panel on the top easy to get dirty?!! Range deeper in size than regular kitchen furniture?! Wish to get my money back or get hired by Whirlpool to help them to design their product to be PRACTICAL... :( [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
