I initially got a discount on my first order. I'll be shopping around for another discount when I need another. Amazes me that these things cost so much no matter where you buy them.
It's important to use only ANSI approved water filters, not some random non-regulated online purchase. With that said, this filter fits my fridge and is exactly what I need. Dropped a star for the ridiculous price.
it was opened and hanging out of plastic packaging. I debated on returning it for a while but Thank God it was ok. Still not sure if I'll purchase another through Walmart.
These filters are great, however, in the past when purchasing them from Amazon they have only lasted me approx 2 months (suppose to last 6 months)! I decided to buy them from walmart given I could take it back in the store if something is wrong. I think Amazon was selling me used ones or counterfeit ones! The one I got from Walmart is still going strong at 4 months. Buy from Walmart!
Arrived in broken packaging, and already opened. Appears to have been used already. Could not use the product.
The clear water is from our sink tap. The cloudy water goes through the fridge filter. I will never buy this brand again. I've run about 20 gallons through this filter and the water has always been cloudy and gross looking the whole time. We don't have any filters on our tap water but that is clearer and better tasting than the water that goes through this filter.
Installed it and noticed after one week there was water on the top shelf under the filter. Upon further inspection, we found much more water that had pooled under the shelves/drawers. What a mess. Took them back.
