This worked just fine. But that is NOT what I am writing about here. My review is about the wonderful and fast delivery of the product I desperately needed. I had to pay an extra fee, but I got it within 90 minutes. Thank You Walmart for your delivery service.
It's a product that I have purchased before from Walmart. Better prices can be had elsewhere, but I will pay the Walmart price because I know that the product offered by Walmart is new and sealed.
This product saves so much in regards to bottle water use this twice per year - exactly twice per year and no more plastic bottles- what a game changer!!!
I have bought this filter many times. It is easy to install and lasts for 6 months.
This product works well and is easy to install.
Having a filter makes a difference in the water. If I left a glass of non-filtered water on the counter, overnight, in the morning it would taste like chlorine. But with filtered water if I left it on the counter overnight, it would taste just the same as when I poured it.
the filter is great, but the three stars are for the price. what use to be $20 is noe $60. for 6 months!! i don't make that kind of money. i will just have to drink unfiltered water.
Walmart, better price than other stores. Shame that KitchenAid-Whirlpool, overcharging for a water filter. Not worth, $60 plus.
Tried multiple times to install filter, bleeding the line to no success. The filter never stopped leaking. In the process of installing the filter the cap broke so I turned the water supply off and gave up. Very disappointed. This is the 10th or so filter replacement and by far the most problematic.
very disappointed, bought two items which both arrived with packaging damaged (as if has been opened before, see picture). when plugged in the fridge per instructions, and flushing and throwing the first two buckets of water out of the filter, the third bucket of water still came out dirty: small black peices and larger white peices. Preparing for return. delivery was quick though.
