THE BEST FILTER BY FAR❗❗ I purchased several type of filters, but this one by far is the BEST Water and Ice is so delicious ❗
The Whirlpool EDR4RXD1 %234 EveryDrop Refrigerator Water filter is superior to the Off Brand Generic Water Filters. The water filter takes less time to purge the filter to get rid of the undrinkable water and ice cubes that are undesirable to consume. The taste of the water going through the Whirlpool EDR4RXD1 %234 water filter after purging is clean and fresh to drink. The Price for this Whirlpool Water Filter Product is Extremely Costly to Purchase for a Refrigerator to get a refreshing drink. I found out for myself that paying a lot more for a good water filtration product was worth my peace of mind. Walmart has the Best Price for the Original Whirlpool EDR4RXD1 EveryDrop Ice and Refrigerator Water Filter 4.
This is by far the best filter we have used. We have a well and the water pressure is not all that great. Any help we can get as far as gpm is welcome. This filter has a flow rate of .7 vs most others at .5. For us it is worth the extra cost. It also filters 31 contaminates and lasts 200 gallons.
This was the wrong size filter. Recognized by buyer as soon as delivered, so it was unopened. Returned to store. I use EveryDrop EDR1RXD1 Filter 1. Shoppers, Whirlpool gets fancy with their numbering system on refrigerator filters. Don't order before checking model%23 compatible carefully. I love Everydrop Filters and use them in my 2017 Whirlpool side by side Refrigerator/Freezer. They are easy to change and do the job of filtering.
The filter is great except the placing it....you have to drain %26 drain %26 drain water from the refrigerator to get it to "release" the old filter - then, once you get the new on in, you have to run SO MUCH water through the new filter before you can drink it....works well other than the HASSLE of replacing.
Purchased 3 filters in less than a year. They work for a short amount of time then water slows to a trickle….
Ive been using these filter for YEARS however the last 2 I've purchased are defective. My first filter slowed down to a tickle. I purchased a new one, it worked for about a week before going back to a trickle. I have started buying bottled water because it is painfully slow.
Have been using this filter for 3 years now model when installed drops down and won't stay in filter bay unit. I have ordered 2 thinking the first one was defective.
Very disappointed this everydrop water filter i bought. from Walmart It's say's it has 200 gallons. And it should last 6 Months. I had it maybe 2 months i haven't gotten not even 35 Gallons of it,and saying replace filter. If I'm going to pay $50. dollars might as well get it from our local stores for $ 58.just maybe those are more accurate and give us 200gallon.like they supposed to. not just 30 or 35 gallon not worth it.
long story short, this filter replaced the original one that came in my fridge, and it was time to change it out. after installing it per the instructions, and even giving it a week to flush itself out, there is no difference in the taste or quality of the water. i even tested the ppm before and after, and my tap water is now better than this filter's water in both flavor and ppm. That was not the case with my original filter. as a result, i will have to buy a different filter. A Brita pitcher works better than this thing. I wish Zero brand made a fridge filter, because I wasted my money.
